What a class act. Nice to see this type of gesture, considering Simmons does not make a huge contract he wasn't thinking of himself and how he could make out big.

It's refreshing to see people who are in a position to help out less fortunate individuals do so. I hope this kinda thing spreads throughout proffessional sports.

Jason Simmons and Ahman Green are class acts. Both of these guys just earned my respect and admiration. I have long admired Warick Dunn for his work in providing houses to single mothers.
It's great to hear about the good that pro football players are doing instead of all the negatives.

There was a guy at All Access today with a #30 jersey with GREEN on the back. Don't know how he managed that since the deal just went through between Simmons and Green, BUT, he sure as heck had one.

I'm sure he ordered one made that way. I get brochures in the mail all the time where you can order a team jersey with any name on the back.
As for their deal to donate the money, it's always nice to see when rich athletes/celebrities realize that they make enough money that they can afford to make someone else's life better in a positive way. It's a lot more respectable than "making it rain" at strip clubs.

Amen, brother... Nice to see that not everybody in this God forsaken world is of the greedy mindset...
Amen to that maybe the oil companies should listen to Green's tactics.

Yeah it is kind of like when you set up your nephews with college tuition because their dad died in the war and you also take care of your sister and pay off everything for her because that dad was also her husband.

HERE'S MY TWO CENTS.......
I am so proud that they are with us and not some other team. My 5 yr old now has a player to look up too. It is going to be nice not having the problems that we hear about with other teams. Thanks guys for being real and not stuck up.
