I really hope we get him in our D-Line position. I know he wont want to take so many steps down, but he would be great for them. I really like Marinelli when it comes to position coaching.

IT never speaks for HIMself. IT does, however, speak for ITself. :)

Explain.

If you read the article linked to above, it details some of Marinelli's accomplishments as DL coach in Tampa Bay and lists his coaching experience, which is quite extensive.

I know i read it. I was just wondering if he(zanth91) was regurgitating what you had in the article or had some other personal insight to add.

I thought I heard where he signed to be head coach at Cleveland. And Romeo is being considered an Asst. Coach and working with there Defense. Am I wrong here?:o

I think it's Mangini that's going to Cleveland, not Marinelli.

Correct- Mangini was hired as the Browns' new head coach. He reportedly said that the Raiders' Rob Ryan is his first choice for defensive coordinator. It doesn't look like Crennel will be their DC, according to this report (http://www.cleveland.com/browns/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/sports/1231407067116460.xml&coll=2) in a Cleveland newspaper.

OK, thanks for the clarification. Those 2 names sure look an awful lot alike. It's heck to get old, LOL....
