I agree. He's been on a tear once the playoffs started.

He is the only WR I will concede is better than AJ. Not by much.

AJ doesn't have Bolden accross from him to keep the defense honest. AJ does it on his own with double and triple coverage. Not to take anything away from Fitz but he is a step behind AJ.

And you can see AJ making all those catches in single coverage as well.

Agree.

How can you agree when AJ threw up some extreme numbers when that scrub QB Carr was here. We all know how much of a joke carr was and AJ still shined.

I don't know if he is better now that I think about it.

Fitzgerald is more acrobatic, Johnson is more physical.

Both are acrobatic and physical but each one excels at one more than the other.

I think Fitzgerald his a little better hands but overall AJ is the more complete receiver.

AJ and Kevin Walter put up better numbers than the Arizona boys. There was a thread about this earlier I believe. I think they didnt have as many TDs though.

AJ does it on his own with double and triple coverage. I think too many people just assume that AJ is constantly having to beat beat double coverages to get open, but think back to all the times you saw him in single coverage. Games like Chicago and Tenn really stand out. And it's not like Walter is some scrub that defenses can just forget about; AJ has help. But as far as who I think is better, IDK, I think Andre runs better routes and gets better separation, probably is better at getting yac. I couldn't say that one is clearly better than the other though.

Must be that I understand the dynamics of football a little better than you headsplint.

Fair analysis and yet how many times during this post-season have you seen Fitz in single coverage? I don't know if it is stupidity or league opinion, etc. Clearly he also draws special attention but it is remarkable it happens. In contrast, as a former OC Kubiak was amazed at the double, triple and even quadruple coverage AJ draws. To be fair he gets singled as well. DC's have to make gambles. Bottom line, there really isn't a clear favorite, but I would take AJ.

Or you are an inveterate Carr fan.

No, in this case it's the former.

speed: aj
quickness, route seperation:aj
ball in the air: LF
hands: how can we say LF has BETTER hands?
aj had 110+ receptions this year and only dropped 5
according to http://sports.iwon.com/nfl/stats/league/passesdropped.html

I think its a toss up, but they DO have 2 #1 wr's and a good
#3 in breaston

aj is better all around only cause im a homer:D
