You lost all credibility with the Texans' first pick. Moore has performed very poorly over the last month or so. Most scouts are suggesting that he will drop from the 1st round. If the Texans really like him they can likely pick him up in the 2nd. I think Chung, Delmas or Smith in the 2nd would be much better value and more likely to contibute next season.

Nice effort but i disagree with about half of your selections and especially the Texans pick. Chiefs aren't taking a QB first round. They can get a tackle that'll be good for 10 years...why pick a QB before you can protect him. I understand Detroit doing it because they have extra picks.

Apparently you didn't watch the Alamo Bowl or the Senior Bowl. If you had you would have seen an overweight, slow ineffective FS. At this point Moore is doubtful to be a 1st RD pick. Based on your mock the more likely selection for the Texans would be Brian Cushing, OLB. If Dunta is not resigned or franchised look for a CB.

I agree I hate Moore in any day 1 pick. I would much rather have Johnson BAMA, or Smith Utah, or Chung ORE who is a SS but could play FS.

Hell no, to William Moore in the 1st round. Moore had a bad year, gained weight, played slow, was injured, and had a terrible Senior Bowl and workouts. I think he'll fall to the late 2nd round and possibly even the 3rd round. If you want a SS in the 1st round then the pick should be Patrick Chung and if you want a FS then take Louis Delmas. Both players had good years and were great in the Senior Bowl.

Not to mention they took an OT last year.

I am beginning to think if WR Jeremy Macklin is there at the fifteenth pick, he would be the BPA. Of course it would mean by-by to Jacoby Jones IMO.

I am stuck thinking that Sanchez will go 3rd.
KC might trade out of that spot, but if you move Sanchez from 3 it changes several other picks. After Stafford is gone 1st there will be alot of intrest in Sanchez because of the drop in talent after the top 2.

only a guess on 2/1

You might be able to trade with Miami @ 25 and pick up one of these guys. Depends on what WR is there at 15

I know...it's all guesses anyway but i think KC should take the OLINE pick in their slot and see who is left at QB. Thigpen might not be great but he did enough for me to say that QB isn't their most problematic area on their team.

Yeah it wouldn't suprise me if KC draft DE or OT..Their pass rush was pathetic last year. I think they only had 10 sacks total.

i would be pissed if we picked maclin. the last thing we need to spend a 1rst round pick on is a WR.

I agree with at least the positions being addressed.

I don't see us using another pick above 5th on a CB unless Dunta has left, since we would already have four on the roster with two and a half having the ability to start. I also don't think we will take a RB in the second round, although you never know what Kubiak might ask of Rick Smith.

If Macklin is on the board at #15 I think Miami pulls the trigger on a trade for:

Texans #15 = 1050 pts.

For

Miami #25 = 720
Miami #56 = 340

total 1060 pts

That would be side of Bill Parcels that no one has seen.

I agree, Parcells is the type of guy to trade down, not up. We would have to find someone else to make a trade with.

Alot of people have forgotten about Josh Freeman from KState, I think he will show alot in the combine and will jump up to the top 3 QB's in the draft.

Why would Miami need Maclin they already have Ted Ginn to return punts

If the Texans can't get a good DE or Safety prospect with the 15, they should trade down for more picks. If there is no worth the fifteen there in the main positions of need, I don't think picking up a OLB or CB will help us, that much. Although, perhaps Bush and Kubiak will think otherwise, I think we are pretty solid in both positions (provided Dunta is resigned) not great, but good enough so that we wouldn't pay high first rounder money for someone that may not be able to beat out the guys we currently have signed.

One of the USC linebackers could be a good pickup at 15, maybe.
