Just regular guys. Both are soft spoken, and very cordial with good attitudes. Had aalready met and got our picture taken with DeMeco at the Draft Day Party in April. Class Acts. Actually I'll go farther and say every player seemed that they enjoyed being there not as if they were being forced. A funny story was, I was talking to Danny Clark who was headed back to New Orleans after his segnent. He said he was gonna talk alot of noise to those guys when he got there. I told him to tell Reggie we were waiting for him and he smiled and said so are we.

I went and I got the Johnson pro bowl jersey. It is awsome. Was in line to get it signed when they shut down the lines. But it was great time anyway.

I got jon's autograph as well as Zach Diles. The defense will have a lot of compitition this year. I believe the Texans will have a top ten defense.

Danny Clark gets the start at camp for the LOLB position for this statement alone. I want those kind of guys on my defense.

I was disappointed by the All Access event. I have a 5 year old daughter whom has limited capacity to stand in line for autographs. As such we arrived early (around 10:30) and established a place in line at which time I was able to negotiate that we wait in line until I received an autograph and the rest of the day was hers. At 11:10 the brass at the head of the line (they were there at the time we originally arrived) told us that no one would be there until 12:30, no need to say that I lost all opportunity for contact with Texan players...... They should have offered everyone in line a # to resume line placement prior to the 12:30 signing. I see the All Access Event as a very unorganized lame attempt by TEXANs to establish community contact. Sorry but I was there in 2005 and experienced the same type of result.

I am sorry you had a bad experience but dude if you would have justwalked around you could have had any number of players at that time.Darius walker's line went pretty quick as well as several otherplayers. This years All Access was 10 more organized than last year. Itseemed that there were less people at this years event but aftertalking to a good friend of mine who is the head of security forreliant stadium he said that there were about 3000 more people thanlast years event.
As far as a lame attempt by the Texans to establish community contact, thats just stupid of you to say that. I used to remember as a kid goingto an Astros game and getting autographs from some of the greatestplayers right before the game started. Nolan Ryan, Mike Scott etc, butif you go now and get there 2 hours before game time and try to get aBiggio or a Berkman they just ignore like the ****** doesn't stink. Theonly thing the astros do is that lame tour bus thing right before theseason starts and they never have it in houston. Don't even get mestarted on the Rockets.
The Texans have gone above and beyond ANY other sport franchise that Ihave known. I guess you have never been to a training camp event thatthey have held for the last 5 years. Where your kids can play in asecured area while you can watch training camp at field level or evenwait in line for autographs. Or even after the guys have sweated theirazzes off for 3 hours and they walk up to the fence and signautographs.
You either didn't have the patience to wait or you have bad luck.
Thank you Houston Texans for the All Access event and I hope they continue their training camp days!!

Is there a Hall of Lame for message board comments? If there is, we have an inductee.
My wife and I are not autograph hounds so we just walked around, past the lines and approached the players from the side of the tables to watch them interact with the fans, snap a few pictures, etc..
If you didn't care who who got an autograph from, there were many stations where the lines were not long and moved very fast. Only Okoye, AJ, Schaub, Green, and Dunta's line were extremenly long from what I observed. There were only about ..mmmm. 25 other players signing at other tables. Saying you "lost all opportunity" for contact with Texans players at 11:10 a.m. is pretty hard to believe from what I saw. Were you really there?
We were there from 12:00 - 2:00 -- rolled by DeMeco's table about 12:45 and there were only about 20 people there and it moved fast. Faggins, Greenwood, TJ, Babin and Weary were the same way. You could have gotten in and out of Abbate's line in about 5 minutes when I walked by. Did you even go up to the 100 level?
I thought All Access - including the unprecedented access to players, and facilities - was outstanding. Name another NFL org that even attempts one of these in-stadium open house events. There aren't many.

You certainly didn't try very hard. Since I went last year my sons used my passes this year and they had a great time. Heck they got a couple of autographs from players who were just walking around the event.
btw... All Access was begun in 2006. There was no 2005 event. Did you mis-type, mis-speak or just make this stuff up?

I went last year and it was all worth it. Your best bet is to narrow down whose autograph you want. Complain all you want but the wait was inside, I remember having wait through the entire practice in the morning and evening outside in blistering Texas heat to get any Oiler autographs.

I agree we had no problem getting autographs. The longest lines we were in was Mario and Ahman Green and Okoye. Of those Okoye is the only one we were not able to get.

I thought this was less crowded this year than last year. Its all a crapshoot to get the big players. There were plenty of shorter lines you could go through and get autographs from younger players.. I had a great time. Thanks to Texans and front office for doing this for the fans.....

I had a good time. I was able to get several players autographs, including Matts, hook up with some old Buds and meet some new ones. Heck I even took the tour and had to leave an hour early.
