What happened this guy he was a 8 million a year saftey, now getting released, jeez, thank god we didn't sign that dude or drayton florence last year, they were two of the most sought after db's last off season, buyer beware in free agency, the Raiders have absolutly killed themselves with some of their signings WR, CB and Safety last year they gave up some 40 million in GTD money to Wilson, Hall and Javon Walker.

Wilson actually had a pretty good year; 129 tackles, 96 solo, 1 FF, 1.5 sacks and 2 ints. I think the only reason Oakland released him is because they're in cap hell after signing Nnamdi and Shane to huge deals and have a high draft pick in Huff waiting (even though he hasn't played well he is a whole lot cheaper)

I do hope we go after him, he'll give you 100 tackles and a few plays across the board. He's been relatively healthy and with him you know what you're going to get. He's also got a Super Bowl ring as the starting FS.

I hope so - I like Gibril Wilson a lot. Eugene and Gibril would be an excellent pair back there, and that would be one position we could put on the back burner in the draft.

He's not bad, they just needed the cap. I think it's a good idea to bring him in to look at.

i would be ecstatic if we resigned eugene and signed gibril then drafted the best pass rushing de/olb in the first round..

His dead money has to be bigger than his cap hit, just smells funny to me. But I can't say I watched many Radier games last year except one crappy game we played there.
