After reading this I may rush home and watch path to the draft

Stephen McGee. Remember this name because he could be a real sleeper amongst quarterback in next month’s draft.

Certainly the 17 NFL scouts and one coach who showed up at Texas A&M’s Pro Day will remember him and his workout. The Aggies held their pro day on Wednesday, but it actually began with meet-and-greets Tuesday night at Wings-n-More in College Station, where scouts had an opportunity to conduct personal player interviews as well as ask questions of the A&M coaching staff.

The only non-scout at the pro day was Jaguars quarterbacks coach David Shula, who put McGee through quarterback drills. And let me tell you, McGee looked outstanding.

McGee, who ran the second-fastest 40 among quarterbacks at the combine (4.66), measured 6-foot-2 and 7/8 and weighed 222 pounds, down 3 from his combine weigh-in.

Watch out for this kid on draft day.

sipping a little to much of that a&m koolaid, the guy was alright in college and will be no good in the NFL. I will say though, he had a great combine.

Yes.....all the Houstonians know Stephen McGee...Wasn't impressive at A/M won't be impressive in the NFL. McGee is the cheap mans Bucky Richardson.

I am going to start an Aggie counter to count how many Aggies start posts about McGee being the next top prospect. :)

he could be ok in the NFL. Remember that in high school the guy was recruited for his exceptional passing, then was shoved into a option-first offensive. Could be a gem, could be another lump of coal.

He wasn't impressive passing wise, but you and try to be impressive with Fran as your coach. I'm not saying that McGee is another Brady or Manning, but with his attitude wouldn't count him out. He wants to win, end of story. I wish him the best but I don't expect him to acomplish the most amazing things ever.

Im just saying if his workout and drills were that impressive he could be one of those guys who sit on the bech a year or two get acclamated and maybe can do something at the NFL level.

I wouldn't mind using a 6th or 7th round pick on McGee, of all the QBs available this year, he might be one of the better sleepers. After all even Tom Brady was only a 5th or 6th pick, no telling what McGee might become with the right coaching and team environment.
