FYI: DeMeco Ryans has fired his agent, Kirk Wood. He's in the process of hiring another agent. I don't know what that'll mean in his attempt to get an extension. He turned down the Texans' last offer in February, and it's been a dead issue since. Stay tuned.

Maybe that was why he turned down Texans offer, was agent saying not enough NOT for Ryans. Hope he comes out and clears the air on this

Nice find. Just last week I was wondering who DeMeco's agent.

Most of these players are just doing what their agent's tell them to do, so it's probably not all Meco and Drob's fault for not participating in voluntary workouts.

I can forgive DeMeco, especially since this firing appears to be related to his current negotiations. However, I place full blame on Dunta. He may be doing as his agent said, but he is airing his issues to the media and acting like a spoiled baby. At this point I would rather we try to trade him for picks or a player (young HB?) plus picks.

It seems Demeco might think he was getting bad advice from his agent. Maybe he's beginning to re-think this whole hold-out situation,

It will be interesting to see what comes of this situation...he's a pro bowl caliber lb and will be interesting to see who he selects as his agent next...could be a good thing or could be a very bad thing (rosenhause sp?).
Either way he surely wont be at conditioning camps while he's agentless and in this situation

Wouldn't be surprised if he hires Drew Rosenhaus. I know alot of people don't like him but you have to admit he gets his players signed and in camp, and I believe he handles three of our players currently.

Is that so??? Which players if you can think of them...it would be interesting to see which players he represents and what their contracts look like with us.

It wouldn't shock me if the three were Andre, Mario and Eric Winston.
