Not important, but it's Clay Matthews with two T's, and he's the III, not jr.

Actually, if his grandfather has passed, then he becomes jr. which drops once his father dies.

Voted Jenkins as well. He could improve our rotation on the secondary immensely, and has the potential to play some at safety; however, I'd like for to compete at CB. Good insurance in case the Dunta doesn't work out.

Everyone says we need SAM, and Mike Mayock thinks Cushing is the prototype 4-3 SAM. Out of all the draft pundits Mayock always seems to be on point.

I was really impressed with Darius Butler in Film I would really like to see us trade back and pick him up along with a second round selection.

I think that'd be a realistic scenario. Jenkins, Delmas?, and then the Brown's, Greene, or Jennings.

only people who could really take jenkins before us are cleveland and N.O. But Cleveland has more important needs in the front 7. N.O. needs a corner badly could be there missing piece to be on superbowl run...so they can go either Jenkins, Davis, or Butler...

exactly Hsports... i hope we do that..and get greene or jennings..but there are rumors greene wont last past second..but in all reality..alot of teams have there #1 And #2 RB's..so i think they can drop to our 3rd round pick...

Cleveland has more dire needs than secondary help. Probably D-Line or WR. And it might be a stretch drafting Jenkins 5th overall, but anything can happen. As for NO, I wouldnt say they need it badly. They did sign Greer and Sharper, and still have Gay and David. Could it be upgraded? Definently, but badly needed, ehh probably not.

yeah i agree...i hope we get jenkins though...i could see N.O. trading back aswell..they also could take chances at wells/moreno even though they got bush and pierre thomas. Always good to have a 2nd/3rd back incase of injuries.

Yeah, we just have to wait and see. And I dont think they trade back. I think they go defense first, if the player they want isnt there, then they go RB.

Cushing is hugely overrated. He's too stiff, can't cover and isn't a great pass rusher . Matthews is already a better player than him at Will or Sam and is getting better all the time. Of all the possibilities being thrown around, Brian Cushing and Vontae Davis are the two I REALLY hope we don't take. They're both going to be very ordinary players at the next level, IMO.

I don't think it is a good idea to draft a cb to play fs. The only way we should take Jenkins is if we want him to be our starting cb. Taking a player in the first round to switch positions is a bad idea. There is no way Kubes takes a project player to switch positions when he has to win now to keep his job.
If we go cb it better be Darius Butler. The guy is a younger D-Rob. Watch video on the guy. Covers and hits just like Dunta.

who ever said jenkins is gonna switch positons? he is gonna be a great CB..he is compared to charles woodson who is one of the best..jenkins ran 4.54 whoopee..he is faster on the field..watch game tape and u will see Jenkins > Butler...we dont want another dunta..dunta is good but he isnt a shutdown like jenkins will be...
