Texans general manager Rick Smith will discuss the upcoming 2009 NFL Draft in a press conference on Wednesday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m. from Reliant Stadium. Watch the entire press conference live exclusively on Texans TV (http://www.houstontexans.com/tv/).

Ok I have no idea which direction they will go now. I am starting to lean towards Jenkins or Davis if they are still there. He did say they signed Ferguson to be a backup at safety. Maybe a small clue.

Jenkins I think may be gone. If he's there they'll probably take him. Davis, if they decide to go that route, they should trade down. As for Ferguson, I dont think he was going to start. Wilson and Barber were their two guys they had planned to start.

I think he just wants to not show his hand. If a high rated O player drops to 15, he wants at team who wants that player to believe the Texans might take him. I think it gives the Texans more leverage when negotiating trades during the draft if other teams think you will take BPA regardless of position.
