I've been hearing for awhile that he could drop into the 2nd possibly even late 2nd. Maybe they are looking at him for a 2nd round pick to compete for starting SLB/backup MLB? Or maybe a potential DR replacement if he gets too greedy. Might make since if we end up going DB in the 1st.

Probably just a visit. No way we take him with our first pick and probably wont be there when we pick again in the second.

If they like him enough, they may put a package together to move up.
Stranger things have happened.

Yeah he is an inside LB. His 40 was 4.70 at his pro day..

I wouldn't mind this guy if we were to trade down once or twice. He is more of a MLB but could potentially play the SAM for us!

yes, Kubiak has said that he hasn't ruled anything out when he was asked about drafting MLB and moving Ryans to the outside.

I bet this is just to cover our bases if we trade down to the bottom of the 1st and the top OLBs are all of the board. just my 2 cents.

I would take it as a 2nd, but definitly not 1st. But his dad being in the Legion of Doom is badass

you never know what will happen on draft day...laurinaitis is a solid LB who would make a lot of sense for us to take...could fill in at SOLB...could possibly move Demeco over but i doubt that's the plan for right now

Hawk and Animal were the best. Is Precious Paul Ellering James's manager?
It would be great if he somehow slipped into the second (I don't think it'll happen). He'd be a great backup to DeMeco, who also slipped to the second round.

Most see him as a better OLB than ILB in the Pros. I would not mind him at 15 at all. Great guy.

I could care less about a linebackers 40 if hes having to use his 40 speed someone else didnt do their job. what was his 3 cone and short shuttle

Ryans ran a 4.69 at his Combine. He's doing okay for himself.
I'm with you on the 40 times. Who cares?

i just mentioned it..cause its a fact...people question jenkins 40..and who cares? it doesnt matter for him either..he is taller then most corners...and unless there running a streak..it really doesnt matter...

Haha. If a corner who runs a 4.5 lines up against a WR that runs a 4.3 who is running a go rout? trust me, it matters... about 6 points.

but not every WR runs there fastest immediately...they try to get open first..then speed up..so it don't matter til they decide to break away which is usually after they catch..or on a streak...plus M.Jenkins has a fast GAME speed...its been proven...if u watch him u can see the diff.

there is no way Jenkins makes it to us, no matter how bad we all want it to happen.
