KFFL reports today the New York Giants are looking to trade up in Saturday's draft. The report says the G-Men are looking at WR in Round 1, but say LB is also a possibility.
The Giants have two 2nds and two 3rds to work with.

Jeremy Maclin could be the catalyst for this deal to be done with us.

Im not so sure they need to move up much to grab a WR.

Read the last sentence of my post. If Maclin is available, they sure do.

rumor is that the Saints also want to trade down. So, if they trade down with Giants instead of Giants (or other team) with us, we get Jenkins provided Smith doesn't have other plans.........

Maclin still won't make it pass jags though....chiefs, seahawks, browns all want/need crabtree...and we all know raiders will grab a WR whether its Crabtree or Maclin...and Jags need to boost their Reciever core. So if both are gone they will prob trade down.

The Browns asked for Mathias Kiwanuka and a 1st Round pick, but the Giants declined, saying that Kiwanuka was a deal-breaker.

Thats interesting. They could use help at the CB, LB, and RB spot. I guess they dont see anyone worthy or without reaching at the 14th spot.

we are kind of in the same boat as Saints. They think they addressed their needs in FA, especially in their defensive backfield, and are ok with Pierre Thomas carrying the load at RB. Sure, they can upgrade - just as we can - but would rather have more picks. Sound familiar?

I don't think they will trade down if Jenkins is there, however. He would be a significant upgrade - more so for them than us - at either CB or FS for them. I do wonder if New England might leap ahead of us for Matthews, however. BB was in Cleveland when Clay Matthews Jr. was there - so he knows alot about the Matthews bloodline too. BB also likes to end up with the exact players that he is after. Saints can still come out with an upgrade at either LB, RB or CB at 23rd plus get an extra pick. Just one of a hundred scenarios that could play out on draft day.....

Should've specified. This was the proposal for Braylon Edwards. It looks like those talks are at a standstill.

Saints Aren't Doing "That bad" i mean they got the better QB. So we can't be compared much. They dont need a RB..but they will take one...Pierre Thomas Helped alot when bush went down he will be the #2 back. Corner is there biggest need...So they could take Davis/Jenkins/Butler..only thing i like more bout butler then other two is his vertical..and for their LB's they got Vilma and Fujita...both are good and help alot..but they cold use another for the weak side.
