You would think an NFL team has its board together the day before the draft.... (see attached) No wonder why everyone thinks Mangini is a lunatic.

Cleveland is trying to trade all their offensive weapons - and they have no defensive ones. So, do they stop with the tomfoolery and draft Orakpo at 5 or continue to dismantle their offense and draft Crabtree if Seatle doesn't or Sanchez and trade Quinn to the Jets? Washington is probably even chomping at the bit to give away every pick in this year's draft for Sanchez.

What they decide will lead to entirely different players available to us by the time it gets to our pick. I hope they pass on crabtree and he gets all the way down to the jags who will take him instead of trading back. Does anyone have a crystal ball? ;)

I agree with this. I'll take it a step farther and say Mark Sanchez affects this draft. So many teams(Seattle, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Washington, New York) are trying to move up or out(Jacksonville's case) to get him. It's going to get interesting!

This is off topic but...one of my biggest fears is that Michael Crabtree is still on the board when the Jags pick and they take him. =(

I agree here. With the signing of Holt and the return of their lineman who were hurt last year, if they get Crabtree their offense will look pretty good heading into the year.

back to the topic...cleveland will definately have an impact on the entire draft...guess they feel attention starved or something to do so many stupid trades (supposedly)...don't understand why they would give up on Quinn so quickly or not re-sign their only legitament offensive weapon in Edwards...sure he's going to require a big time contract but there is no sense in having 30 mil under the cap every year and being a consistant 4-12 team like cinci...spend the money to keep your good players and keep your team competitive

just saw an article rating the NFL owners and with no surprise Al Davis was actually not the worst rated owner...the Bengals owner was...didn't realize he pays himself an annual GM bonus of 1 mil since he's never had a GM in the 18 years he's been in control of the team...they've also only had 1 winning season during that tenure...guess the phrase of the day should be stupid is as stupid does
