Anthony Hill and James Casey are now Texans.
Only explanation is Owen is on his way out.

Should have traded him to the Bills before the draft and we could have recieved a 1st rounder.

Doesn't mean he's out at all -
Casey's an H-Back, TE, Wildcat QB, Goalline runner
Hill is going to be a swing tackle.
Owen is pretty safe here...

Man when they got Barwin in the 2nd and he has TE experience I thought that was a plus but good god man how many TE's do you need?
Owen Daniels
Joel Dreessen
Mark Bruener
Clark Harris
Anthony Hill
James Casey
Maybe we are trying to corner the market? Is there any left?
Bruener is gone. Insert waiver pickup Courtney Anderson. But 6 TEs!?

Casey lined up as a WR at Rice his sophomore season (last year) and caught over 100 passes. He also had a 3.8 GPA as a triple major. Something tells me this guy is motivated to succeed.

Us taking James Casey probably has alot to do with Kubiaks son going to getting the scholarship to Rice that he really didnt deserve.
Anthony Hill is a pure blocking tight end and he is a good pick up for us.
I dont know what were going to do with Owen Daniels now though

And to think all along its been the TE position that has been our redzone problem!
Is Casey going to be running the ball for us though? I think people are assuming that since he is listed as a tight end he will only play as a tight end.
The texans could have valued him higher than andre brown simply because he can play multiple positions well and run the ball.
Casey looks like a stud at the moment and I am pretty sure if he came with the label RB people would be freaking out right now about him being a solid pick.

Klein Kubiak will be a walk-on at Rice next season. No scholarship.
