I was really hoping we would get this guy. He is a beast, not a burner, but would really complement Slaton and is a punisher.
Oh well.

what do teams know that we don't about Jennings??? Probably a lot but come on. There has to be something keeping teams from picking him. He is obviously still there and all 32 teams have passed.

If he can make it 8 more picks, I say we take him.

I just can't believe this.. two tight ends, and no running back. Jennings would have been nice, but if we had not wasted two picks on TE's, we could have picked up a RB. Man this really is weird....

I dont think James Casey was a wasted pick. Kiper liked him as one of the best picks in the 5th round. Good recieving TE and we needed to replace Bruener.
I dont like/dont know about either guy we took in the 4th round.

Well you got your wish on Rashad Jennings... you will be seeing him twice a year playing for Jacksonville.

Oh well, the Texans had their chance. Though they obviously saw something about him they didnt like. IF he comes back to bite us in the butt, Im not necessarily going to "feel sorry for us", we could of chose him, and they feel/felt comfortable with Chris Brown as the backup.

Brown is a way better option IF hes healthy.
Slaton and Moats are fine and I like Brown as the power back.
Doesn't seem like a hard role to fill.

Oh boy. Key is IF he's healthy. Let's take a look at this since Brown is a POWER back <snicker>. In 2008, well he was MIA...all year. 2007, missed 4 games and only had ONE game over 100 yards. He averaged a whooping 38 ypg. Ok...lets move along. 2006, this POWER back missed 11 games with a 31 ypg average. You gotta like those numbers. Vomit. 2005, missed only 2 games for a bruising 58 ypg. Success...sign the boy up. 2004, ok, back to normal. He missed 6 games but averaged 97 ypg. His best year EVER.
Great option. Looks like a contract extension is in the works.

good enough option until we find something better in the draft or through free agency.
i never said anything about a contract extension. so back off jack off.

Chris "The Power Back"....is that you? Slow down on typing. You'll pull a muscle and be back on IR.:D
