I will be moving to San Antonio from South Texas in August to attend St. Mary's University. I have a question for you fans in San Antonio. Where do I watch the games? I can't get Sunday Ticket because I am living in a dorm.

I don't want to have to drive down every Sunday but I just might.

How often do they show the games? Or not show them.

well the year we went 2-14 we were at Buffalo Wild Wings alot. The local stations went with other games.

Last year I think we went maybe 2 times.

Fatsos on Bandera Rd. would also be showing the game however I am not sure about how many Texans fans show up. I have never been to the BWW on De Zavala for a game due to my buddy having the NFL package showing on his 9ft HD Projector in the garage. He is a Colts fan though so I probably should show up with the other Texans faithful at BWW once in a while.

There is actually of pretty good turnout of Texan fans at BWW on de zavala. They were pretty good about showing the Texans games due to the fact that there were so many of us there...

is this official? That sounds like a great idea.

Most of the games are televised on CBS but Cowboys games on CBS take precedence and Texans games on FOX wont be shown over the Cowboys.

BWW has the Sunday ticket...If there are fans there, they will show it...Also Hooligans was pretty good about showing them last year. I think we should post each week of the season, where we we all be. Would love to walk in any San Antonio bar or resteraunt and totally out number the cowgirl fans.

As far as BWW on DeZavala ... they have a good steeler following that shows up. Bigger group gets Audio.

I think we should get together before the season to plan things and maybe start a SA fan club. Maybe then the team will market in SA..but wait..the marketing guy says they do and already have plenty of events in SA.....

After having seen same wish die in Dallas area, I would suggest you pick one place. Do not flit around or change locations, whether distance is too much, traffic, boring menu, etc. Stick to one place, make sure EVERYONE knows you only meet here @______.

Talk to management about putting up a Texans flag if you got one, make sure you patronize place (spend money). You make owner's Sundays good every week, he will want to make sure you keep coming back to his place.

It won't be one season or overnight, but as Texans improve fans will want to come to official meeting place in San Antonio. Don't worry about outnumbering Dallas fans, 80% of can't tell you who plays what position they just follow them to be cool.

Make Texans the choice because they are best team, not the popular easy choice. In fact set mindset if Texans go 0-16 for next ten years, you will be there Sunday in or Sunday out no matter what.

Too many jump on a bandwagon, because they are winning, lets see people show up for team win or lose.

Thanks for the time and allowing me to input

We should do that...The question is where should that place be...does anybody have any suggestions? I know that I can bring four to six Texans fans with me each and every Sunday. Just need to be sure that they will in fact, be showing the game. Too many times, we've all loaded up to hit the bar to watch the game, only to be greeted with, "we're not showing it." Maybe the offseason would be a good chance to contact and lock in a bar or resteraunt owner to commit to showing the game. It could turn into some good, free advertisement for them...especially on these boards.

We tried the Lion and Rose one year and the Manager was very open to the idea. Two problems that year. Texans went 2-14 and Lion and Rose does not have a Football menu or feel to it.

We will have a good shot locking up the BWW on Dezavala cause some of us have been going for years.
