At times, I wonder if players or players friends get a chance to view these forums. If so, please give this message from me to D Ryans.

Thank you! Thank you for your hard work on and off the field. We notice it constantly. You have proved to me at least as being the absolute example of a player that I want on the Texans. A few examples of what I mean; you dont talk trash - you trash talk with your play. You dont air your problems with money, you let people know your unhappy, then you come to work and take care of business. This makes me as a fan who will write a letter to the Texans organization requesting you get paid because of what you do and how you do it. You are caring enough to give YOUR earned spotlight to honor someone else like Brooke Bentley. Wow.

These are just a touch in the bucket of why I thank you. At the end of this year, if a deal hasnt been secured by then, we got your back and will get you paid man. In my mind, and I am very sure of other fans here, you are Texan for life, and I would be proud to do everything I can (very little, I know) to help with it as much as I can.

Well, wrong thread for this but since you guys started it: Congrats to Brook.

Back to DeMeco: When I get in figh... make that lively discussions with all the Cowgirl fans, they constantly ask, "So who on the Texans is really all that great?".
I have been shooting back the same 3 names at them for a couple of years now, Mario, AJ, and DeMeco. Most of the time they answer something along the lines of "Oh, that guy you drafted 1'st instead of Reggie Bush back when, but who were the other 2 again?". (Hey, if they were all that bright they wouldn't be Cowboy fans, right?)
With the help Mario will be getting on the other side of the line, DeMeco back at 100%, and AJ just being AJ I think all three have a very good chance at being recognized as the #1 guys at their positions at the end of the season.
So DeMeco, AJ, and Mario... thanks in advance for the bragging rights, and remember... It's Texans Time!

demeco to me is a throwback middle linbacker. solid cover skills, great tackling, nose for the ball, eyes on the play, but man have i ever loved watchin him lay people out with bone jaring hits! they get me hollering and jumpin round the bar every time. lol (bar is also filled with Cowboys fans;))
