Way too early for a draft but it doesn't look bad. You are obviously a Texans homer (nothing really wrong with that) with your 3 Texans taken as starters. I think all three will have good seasons but you take the risk of the Texans having a terrible offensive season.

I agree with Golden... Very risky to even think about a draft before TC even starts... I had Schaub & OD last year plus Slaton & I won my Yahoo public league... I know, I know, Yahoo, but was Happy to rub Slaton in everyones faces when I was questioned on taking a rookie... lol.. I knew Green would be gone by week 3... I can only see the Texans Offense doing the same if not better than they did last year & we are NOT going to get outta the gate 0-4 this year.... GO TEXANS!!!!

I have my FOX Sports draft on August 8th. My boy just made the draft so early because he's deploying soon and won't even be around to watch the season.

Just a little info for all of you...draft defensive players by position, instead of just one D/ST. It's way more fun that way. For instance, our (defensive) starting lineup consists of:

2 DE
1 DT
3 LB
2 CB
1 S
1 DP

It's great, because you get Special Teams points from anyone on your roster too. I know you knew that, but still....

How many teams in your league? Forte and Slaton are projected in most places to got between third and eighth overall...Ronnie Brown early second round normally. You got a stud stable of RB's if you're in a regular 12 team league. I think your WR's are kind of weak though...Colston with durability concerns and Holmes is being drafted high based on the Super Bowl more than actual production.

Lendale White off the bench could be used as pretty decent trade bait if someone with a nice WR ends up needing RB help.

And for your team, I'd suggest trading one of those WR's to DBCoach for one of his RB's (but not Lendale!) :D Amazing WR crew.

In my fantasy league, I've gotta keep four players from:
Adrian Peterson
DeAngelo Williams
Joseph Addai
Calvin Johnson
Brandon Marshall
Dwayne Bowe

Torn between Marshall, Addai and Bowe as my fourth...Pete, Deangelo and Calvin are staying with me.

Of course the decision is yours, but if the decision were mine think I'd keep Bowe and cut loose Addai/Marshall. Addai is probably going to see less and less work over the next few years as the Colts bring in more RB's and Marshall (atm) doesn't have a QB.

Since the departure of their TE, Kansas City is basically left with Bowe as their only option in the passing game for Matt Cassel, and he'll probably find him often.

To be honest I play with three teams; pre training camp, middle of pre season, then post pre season, I try differant strategies with each team.

There are 10 teams in my league. Thanks for the advice. This is my 2nd year playing FFB.

Like I said though, my main league has 20 teams in it, and we draft Off. and Def. players. The talent is spread pretty thin in that league.

My stars on that team are Jay Cutler, Chris Johnson, Steve Slaton, Aaron Curry, Thomas Davis, Brian Cushing and Percy Harvin (future OROY!) Chris Wells is also in the starting lineup.

My bench is made up of rookies I think will do well: Aaron Maybin, Everette Brown, Andre Brown....

I've also got Domenik Hixon, because he'll be the #1 guy in NYG if they don't trade him.
