Gotcha, I see it now!
Looks like I am going to have to rebuild mr Koolaid man so that mine will be cooler than his!

I would have to check to see if the koolaid man is copyright protected before I can print anything and since he is the mascot for the Koolaid company I would assume he is fully protected.
Maybe I could package it as a similar looking serving pitcher of "Battle Red CoolAid." :)
Not as cool as your Kool-Aid Man, but how about those checkered tablecloth towels that we Texans Fans need? Jerry Jones said something regarding Houstonians as having checkered tablecloths in an article. You may have read it. I figure we could have the Texans logo all over a checkered towel.

That is an amazing idea! We would have that red and white picnic look all over the stadium! As Jerry said, his team is certainly too "Glitz and Glam" for that kind of stuff. He made his football team sound like a little girls dance squad! What a tool!
If the team wants to hire me to print up some "Terrible Texan Picnic Towels" I would do it! :)

TTPT!!! I would buy 'em...
Come into Our House & it is NOT Going to be a PICNIC!!!! or as Yogi would say "picinic" lol...
Man, I'm telling you, it would be like Luv Ya Blue all over again. Some money could be made here. If I had the resources, I would definitely do it. That's what Houston fans need, an Identity. I would buy a couple if this ever happens. I know if a guy can print RIP Michael Jackson T Shirts, we can have these made up. Could you imagine being the guy that brought thousands, millions of Texans fans together by just a small object that would allow them to relate to their team?
Hell Yeah!!!

Actually, I guess I was assuming they would have to be branded with the Texans logo. I guess they could just have the Text or something. :)
I am not against making a buck, but I wouldn't want to make my team mad. I am sur ethey would prefer seeing that cash go into their pockets rather than my company. :) Although, I guess they have to hire someone to print them so I would like ot be first in line to offer my services!
The Terrible Texan Picnic Towels would be a must for our next home game against the Cowboys!

Nice one Texansaint, if only you could make a shirt, I want one!!
oh well, **** copyrights...........
vbot, that and getting Kool-aid on a shirt would be hard.
Don't get me wrong, I want this to be legit. And yes, I would want the logo on the squares. One of the moderators should know who needs to be contacted. I would think both the organization and the printer would make some money. He or she would have to be paid for services, right?

Hell put you a package together, with cost of the towels, print design & layout, shoot 'em sample & get oit over to thier PR Dept. Too bad Brooke is gone, she would probably hop all over this to help get your foot in the door.
& Lets not wait for our next Home Texans/Cowboys game, lets get a tradition started now!!!
Please do it. This would be the start of a tradition.

Plan A...
I am still waiting for a call back from Kraft Foods for information regarding the koolaid man and his usage. If they view it as "free advertising" then we will probably be in the clear. If they view it as infringing on their brand then I will not be able to print up the shirts.
My fingers are crossed that they will permit the use of their koolaid man.
PLAN B...
I can rework a design with toro holding up the battle red pitcher and then on the back of the shirt it would say "WHAT ARE YOU DRINK'IN!!!" This of course would be assuming that a cartoon representation of Toro would be free use.

I tell you if this breaks out, it would be funny that Jerry Jones in a kind of way started it all with the Texans Picnic Towels and I can just picture him with a look of desperation on his face when our Texans are kicking his Cowboys A@@es. Biting his nails, etc while the masses wave their towels at Reliant. Anyway, we need to start a poll because this started in this website thread, it needs a thread of it's own to see who's in.
