I have to say that is nice to see the Oiler blue come out of mothballs. There are probably a lot of fans who have never seen an Oiler uniform.

You have to be a real old timer to have seen those. They were white by the time you and I started to watch.

talk about throw backs....man I almost threw up in my mouth when I saw the sorry arse tacks in my beloved columbia blue...oh well, I love my Steel blue.
As for the game...do the bills really look that bad or or the tacks (as much as Id hate to say it) look that good???

lol
vince is eating those superbowl words already by securing his back up role.
Now if c. johnson would fumble a few times i'd be happy.

Yup. Vince looks awful.
tHE Bills need to revamp their lb core. Plus they have had the worst pass rush for 3 years running. Doesn't look like much has changed.

yup.
run the ball 70 yards and then try to boost his confidence on a simple timing throw.
fischer is a genious

while he made a good throw. he did nothing against the bills 2nd defense to make me say he should be competing for the starter spot. most of his passes looked like ducks flapping the wind. the passes he made with velocity all ended up low. he does not come close to looking like a starter. hell if his name was not "vince young", i would be thinking he was destined to be 3rd string QB if he is lucky.
have to see how ramsey take advantage of the 3rd strong defense.

Well, even though buffallo's defense is as bad as ours has been, i gotta admit that after one week of camp, the titans look pretty impressive with the first stringers.
Not sloppy at all. It's good to see that they will give our team a good test this year. Indy may be slipping but the darn titans look to be a formidable foe again even with no qb or recievers.
At least they still looked one dimensional. Every time they tried to throw it was a possible pick. Collins seemed to have all day though. We're going to have to disrupt that oline a little better than buffallo did. Collins is accurate when given protection.
But the key to victory is as always , stopping the titan run game. forcing them to pass.
I wasn't very scared of their defense against our offense. No hanyesworth was very obvious out there.
I know i know it was a pre pre season exhibition game and no conclusions can be drawn yet. I am just spouting out my thoughts on the game and what i saw.

Saw some things we can take advantage of definitly. Division games are allways tough though.
Retard please learn how to capitalize proper nouns, you're embarrassing yourself and retards everywhere. Didn’t I tell you to back away from the keyboard? Oh, and wipe your chin off you’re drooling again.
Just b/c you got punked on your dismal little thread about D-Rob doesn't make you "Dr. Ron the English tutor." Watch your mouth.

I thought Young looked horrible. He only got to throw that touch pass in the end zone because the Bills muffed the punt that put the ball that close. Also I thought they shut CJ down well early in the game, he only had 1 decent run, he got hit in the backfield a few times. Ramsey looked alot better in the pocket than Young, if they didnt pay so much for him, Ramsey would be passing Young on the depth chart.

The Bills defense looked horrible. I think its was hard to guage how good the tacks are because of how pathetic the bills looked out there. Edwards and T.O. looked to be on the same page...which is good for their offense, but their drive still stalled out.
Like Diehard said...the running attack by CJ early on in the game was laughable at best. I mean seriously he had what??? 6 carries for 17 yds and one carry was for 16....that said a lot about his day. Lendale white didnt impress me much either....for someone who slimmed down and supposedly rededicated himself to football he sure didnt look all that good. And vince young...well it doesnt look like he's gonna get that starting role back anytime soon...Ramsey def out played him and his stats were atrocious.
I know its early and only the first preseason game of the season, but I like our chances. If we can get healthy and get our starters back on the field, our rookies some good game time experience I think we can make a splash this year in our conference.

CJ lost 8 yards on his first 3 carries, I thought that was funny, he can't break tackles, yeah he is fast but not much power.

he's def in for a long season if he cant hit the hole between the tackles...he only had 3 runs for positive yards and they were all runs to the outside against a bills defense that looked very lost.
It would have been interesting if the middle linebacker would have intercepted collins on that first series....I couldnt believe he dropped that one right to him...I wonder if the outcome would have been different....momentum shift would have been huge there...instead they stop them and get burnt on a trick play....not good for morale...

I don't think our O-Line will get blown up like the bills. I know Pitts won't get owned like that.

I find it hilarious how some of you are jumping to conclusions after one game that doesn't count....Titans have the best team in the division with a strong defense and ball-control offense....To think the Titan run game will not be up to par this year is grossly premature.....Chris Johnson loss many yards behind the line of scrimmage last year yet rushed for over 1200 yards (4.9 per carry)....LenDale White is 30 pounds lighter and will provide a great change of pace (dont forget about one of the best OL's in the league)...If anything, yesterday's game showed the Titans will once again have a stingy, opportunistic defense.

When it was firt team vs. first team, I thought the Biffs shut down the run pretty well. I think it was q2 (5th series) before the run game actually did get to positive yardage. After that, I turned it off.

Personally I would feel more comfortable of Vince won his job back, then we could play run and make him beat us passing. lol Dont see VY doing that.

yeah, they did ok up the gut but the outside was there all day.
they did have trouble stopping white and everyone knew it was coming.

IMHO the Titans looked good. That D-line was better than I expected. Vickerson looks like a stud and Marks with more work could be very good. Too bad for them they have to go against our seasoned O-line. :D

IMO the Titans looked as good as last year at best but minus Fat Albert and we beat them then. The key isn't how good they are but how much we improved. I think this year they will have their @#$es handed to them on a nice silver platter, served with a side of who has the last laugh Bud. Maybe they could use a bottle of whine to wash it down while they are choking. Courtesy of the Houston Texans!

I think I remember them changing to the white helmets a few years after Dan Pastorini was drafted. I'm trying to think back....it was sometime right around that time.

Watch out what you wish for...
I still have that image of him making that run to score at the end of the game to beat us a few years back...Fluke or not, they got the W and we got the L thanks to him.
He may have our number...
Dang man NFLN is showing this game right now AGAIN.

true that was against our old defense though. Would love to see him try it with the lbs we got now! These guys are like Head-hunters! If a qb wants to scramble, he better be stepping out of bounds or sliding, cause the lbs will hit him hard and make him think twice about doing it again!
