Jason Babin , one of my favorite ex-Texans, was signed last week by the Eagles. And he is coming out with both guns smokin' . He has started a number of fights from day one. He says he's trying to earn a spot and take care of his wife and kids. Sitting at home unsigned has lit a fire under this young man, hopefully he will always remember this experience and play with passion. I always liked Babin, I think he is one of the many Capers' casualties.

Lol, when i read the title of the thread i thought Babin had pulled a Brock Lesner and actually signed a contract with the UFC. He is built well enough for it and those tattoos on his arms are pretty sweet.

I always liked Babin too - it seems like such a waste to have gotten rid of the guy when we need more pass rush and the guy we traded him for barely ever played for us.

Yeah, Babin was one of my favorites also. I still remember his first game(IIRC) when he shot out like a bat out of hell & tackled LT for a major loss. I'll actually try to see some Eagles pre-season games jus to check'em out!!!

Just goes to show you that no matter how good some of these kids are in college, that doesn't mean it will carry over into the pros. I also was a Babin fan. I still don't know why he didn't do more in the pros than he did, but he sure busted out...

Im surprised the packers haven't given him a look since it was capers 3-4 scheme and he knows it.

It's not his fault some jackass drafted him in the first round. I wish we would have renegotiated his contract and kept him instead of trading him for a scrub. He could have been a special teams beast and pass rusher.
Oh well.
