I'll link it when one's available, but this would be good for the Texans.

yeah week one is very important if we are a wild card there would only be one other spot for the JETS assuming NE wins that division. It will give us great positioning in the Wild Card standings with that tie breaker.
The JETS schedule is brutal us week one, then the Pats, Titans, Saints and Dolphins, they could start 0-5 although if they are 0-4 I hope they beat the dolphins. and the Titans

very intresting.
I hope they beat the titans as well!!!
reason 1) for wearing the olier unifroms! Fu@# Bud Adams
reason 2) helps us move up in the AFC south divison hehehehe
I hate the Titans!!!! Trash motha Fo's
But ya we should beat the jets, rookie QB, Defense all lil nicked up.
We need a good start this year so all the more the better.

yeah it has been all but confirmed for a week or two now. But Yeah their top two sackers from last year are out, I also keep reading that Gholston looks lost and he is going to back up Pace who is the other suspended Jet.
decent break considering Sanchez looked pretty poised. Kris Jenkins is a little banged up too. Not that we don't want their best but it's looking like Schaub should have plenty of time. Revis could be the best CB in the league so expect Walter/Daniels to have big days. If AJ tears up Revis he could go for 2,000 yards....just saying it's possible

I want to see Sanchez do great again before I think he is a threat.
I would love to See Andre get that record, i beleive the all time is like 1841 Jerry Rice) breaking 2K would be awesome. Without there two best rushers Matt will have an extra second or two, I could see us throw for 350 yards, a little play action 77 yarder to Andre like in the season opener two years ago.

Pace and Ellis finished fourth and fifth in tackles last year. Pace led the Jets with 12 tackles for losses. Ellis led New York with eight sacks and 12 quarterback hits.
Their combined stat line: 133 tackles, 18 tackles for losses, 15 sacks, 21 quarterback hits, seven forced fumbles and five recoveries.
Other than that, they didn't do much.
I cut and pasted this from ESPN

Wow, so no Pace or Ellis and a rookie QB in a hostile stadium!
I AM SOOOO EXCITED I AM GOING TO THIS GAME!!! :)
Speaking of the Regular Season Opener, I hope this will light a fire under our guys. See Bottom Headline...
Sorry, it's a little tiny, but it reads "Jets' Sanchez Sparkles In NFL Debut"

We will see how he sparkles when he is trying to keep pace with Schuab. I bet he throws at least 3 picks that game.

The 2 starting DEs out, rookie QB... i don't think it matters. Ryan will have his men ready for battle. It'll be a tough and physical game for our boys. They can't take this game for granted.

Give Sanchez the regular season noise on opening day at Reliant and see what he can do. Add to that a couple big hits and hurries and we will see how "poised" he is going to be for an entire season let alone an entire game.
So far he has played a series or two of football and he has been crowned a gem... BAH! Carr won his first football game and then the wheels fell off so forgive me if I am not convinced that Sanchez is going to do anything big.

Picks? No. But Mario and Barwin with multiple sacks... Yes.
I don;t think our DB's will get picks. But our line will get pressure so fast it will be unfair.

They're talking about how well he played in the first preseason game. From what I heard he and Bradford both played well.

Of course, the season hasn't begun, but this is not what the Texans want to be reading the day after the REGULAR SEASON Opener.

I see us running it all day at one side. Aren't both of the suspended players on the right side? We can use winston to clear a path all day.

I cant wait for this game! The atmosphere is gonna be electric in the Stadium! I am confident we will win, however i have one nagging fear.
The Jets have a strong running game, which they will turn to even more seeing they will most likely be starting a rookie QB. The Texans of past aren't great against the run and so I just hope that whilst we all talk about an improved pass rush we don't get burned in the run game.
Sorry to be a downer...i seriously think we will win with home field advantage and are awesome O! I just hope the run game isnt overlooked. On the flip side though, if (more like when!) we win this game, the confidence boost it will give our D will help us out soooo much, especially with our week 2 away game at the Titans!

I had picked up a copy of Madden 09 for the WII, made a few roster changes & played the Jets... The Texans won 42-15. with Schaub throwing 5TDs & Slayton running 1. I let my 6 y/o play a couple of series in the 3rd & he let the Jets get a safety & thats why they ended up with 15... lol... I had left the room for a couple of mins... Am taking on the Titans tonight... lol...

I hear what you're saying about the running game, but if they want to keep the score close, they will have to throw to keep up with Schaub and our offense. I see us scoring at least 4 touchdowns in the opener!

I have no doubt that our offense will be fine...and that should mean Sanchez will have to air it out. I just hope we don't get stuck in a situation where they are controlling the clock, and wearing out our D. Although last year we did pretty good and controlling the clock ourselves and with our run game i look for us to set the tone.

Weed in the car and he's speeding with no insurance. No matter how much money you make some people never learn.
