If U goto HT.com & open the roster page, it shows everuone there...

I see K. Campbell LB Bowling Green but his NFL Season is Blank, so if he was the first....

A. Hall is the second... Show position, stats, school But his season is blank now...

Not sure if it is going to be this way all day or not....

I doubt the website team is going to update that roster today. Probably not until during the week.

What did you see that i didn't cuz he looked fine to me with the amount of carries he got. He broke more tackles than hall too.

They kept Martinez cuz they like that all of their WR with the exception of AJ of course can play special teams and play it well. However I wonder who they wil lcut when Drob finally reports. I would have to guess Hall. Kubes also said that Dressen will be doing the LS duties.

Surprised Chaun Thompson, who is injured and got injured making a fool of himself auditioning for backup K duties kicking field goals, made it over Buster Davis

If he makes to the PS, is he protected then or can someone else sign him from the PS as well?

Someone else can claim him our our or any PS but I think they'd have to sign him to the Active Roster but I'm not sure on that. But he or any player can be claimed off the PS.

Im glad we kept the players who stepped up.

Martinez, Busing, Grossmen.

Im glad to see Arian Foster go. I cant stand that guy. I hope he doesnt join the PS.

All the cuts make since, no real surprises.

I hope we pick up a decent player or two from other teams cuts

I agree. I couldn't care less, if Foster makes it to our practice squad or not.

But no surprises?

I'm not looking at who we kept, but just looking at the cut list, some that are surprising to me, are:

Darnell Jenkins, Josh Leonard, Deltha O'Neal & Cliff Washburn.

Cliff was the most surprising.... I thought he was hands down better than Butler. I'm hoping he makes it to the practice squad.

& Deltha Oneal..... we're going to keep a dozen WRs, and cut CBs???????

Dunta's out. Reeves hurt, isn't Bennett hurt?

Jacoby Jones over Darnell?? JJ had a good game in Tampa.... & maybe he's showing them something in practice. I don't know.

it should be Hall to be cut when Dunta reports.

Jenkins isnt really surprising. I dont think they really gave him a shot besides on ST. Though he was also caught in a #s game at the WR position.

Leonard, like all the other DT showed flashes but much like Jenkins, caught in a #s game at the DT position.

O'Neal was a camp guy from the beginning. He never saw any significant action in the preseason besides this last game, which is when the players who likely get cut play.

And for Washburn, yes a bit surprising but I think they'll bring him back. I know he did get injured during one of the preseason games, I dont know if that had anything to do with that or if they feel comfortable with who they got.

Kubiak don't like undrafted players.

signed Terrell Davis

Terrell Davis was a 6th round draft pick.

TheLBCoach

Clearly, the Texans have a LB they'd like to sign. Keeping only 6 is cutting it kind of close. Especially with Cushing and Diles' injury concerns.

THREE OTs? I sure hope we sign another within the next week.

I am surprised that not only are we taking 6 WRs but we didn't sign Buster Davis. That guy played pretty good for us this preseason and we are still keeping Chaun Thompson? Did he even play this preseason?

Kubiak don't like undrafted players.

But aren't Mike Brisel, Deljuan Robinson, Bulman and Chris White all former undrafted free agents?

Jacoby Jones should be next to go. If he plays he's going to cost games sooner or later. Why did he stay in favor of Washburn?

People act like he drops the ball once every game, he had a bad sophomore season as far as holding onto the ball, doesn't negate his talent and potential. Granted he is still on thin ice (with Moats, McCain and a far removed option of Anderson as possible punt returns if he doesn't work out) but Jacoby is far from the worst guy out there returning punts and probably one of the top ten in terms of speed.

As for Washburn, given how high the Texans have been on Butler playing either tackle position if need be, dude was in a numbers game. Short of a major injury to both Brown and Winston, there is no way they'd take two back up tackles.

I guess im the only person who isn't suprised Jacoby wasn't cut .......But when you actully look at the big picture you shouldn't be Jacoby has Game Breaker Skills and no other Reciever has that skill Other than Dre ...Only about 3 Texans have the ability to possibly score any given time they Touch the Ball 1. Andre Johnson 2. Steve Slaton 3.??????????...Yep you guessed it Jacoby Jones. The Top punt returner in the league last year had 3 returns for touchdowns Jacoby had 2 . If we were to cut him and he put it all together for another team people on this board would be calling for Kube's head. I think this kid might have a break through season if he just plays the game like he did his rookie preseason and leave everything else on the field.
