We have the worst rushing offense in the league right now.
I thought Slaton was supposed to put an end to our rushing woes, not make them worse.
Oh, right. Optimism: we're 1-1! Yaayyy... but really: what happened? I'm at a total loss.
The teams we played are ranked 6 and 2 (respectively) in rushing defense... but I'm kinda concerned that's more because of us than in spite of us. Thoughts?

We played two of the best run defense teams in the league for our first two games. That sums it up.

You are an *****.
2008 Regular Season Rushing Defensive stats

3 Baltimore Ravens
6 Tennessee Titans
7 New York Jets
So the Ravens had the 3 best rush d? and the d coordinator went to the team with the 7th best rush D, that JUST BEAT NE
Titans had #6 Rush D last year and only lost one player that didn't play ever snap and was more impressive against the pass, but still good against the run, but they also got more players better players for the rotation
What would make you think that Slaton would gash them?
Or maybe you are just stupid. :)
Imagine when we do get our running game going. Eh?

Slatons gonna have a good game next week, count on it. The major problem has really been our interior O-line getting beat. Even today if you watched the game the Titans got good penetration up the middle on a number of plays, ecspecially running plays and on pass plays where shcuab got pressured or hit it was almost always coming from the middle not from the edges. duane Brown and Eric Winston were ballin today.

Him gashing the Titans for over 100 yards twice last season gave me a bit of hope that he might a bit get more than 34 yards against them today, I'll admit, but I hardly think that makes me stupid.
And you need to chill out. I'm not knocking the team, I'm pointing something out and trying to start a **** discussion. Or am I in the wrong place?

But if you watched the game you would know that they were putting 9 men in the box and we were running a lot of single WR formations. So it's different than last year when they were afraid of our passing.

schaub needs to recognize that and change out of the play and take advantage of it with the pass. He needs to improve some in those pre-snap reads.
