I would buy a ticket to that fight.
It was nice to see Winston with some fire in his belly. He is truely here to win. The way he challenged Wanden Bosch and trash talked was one of the highlights of a spectacular game.

Aside from Mario, Winston is probobly the last Texan I would mess with. He would dominate Vandenbosch.

Did anyone see Mario in the back ground trying to get in the fight. I never seen him that mad. I hope they keep that fire for the rest of the season.
I noticed that. Glad the refs put a stop to it because Mario looked ready to remove heads from bodies.

I think he was looking for Mr red eye, but the caveman beat him to it.
They are "tinted" contacts. They are supposed to help with glare and UV protection kinda like the visor.

Carson probably didn't have that in mind when he talked about Mario killing somebody on the field. :p

No I don't think so, I just think he was trying to be cute and scary at the same time. he needs an edge in facing Mr. 10,000 BC.

"Results. The Amber and Gray-Green lenses enabled subjects to recover vision faster in bright sunlight compared with clear lenses. Also, subjects were able to achieve better visual recognition in bright sunlight when compared with clear lenses. Additionally, the lenses allowed the subjects to alternate fixation between a bright and shaded target at a more rapid rate in bright sunlight as compared with clear lenses. Subjects preferred both the Amber and Gray-Green lenses over clear lenses in the bright and shadowed target conditions."

He looked like he was trying to climb over the top of the pile to get to somebody, anybody that had the wrong color on.

I'm not disputing that, I just don't think Vanden Bosch wore them for that reason. He isn't that smart. Most likely he went to a Halloween store and got them to be scary. High school stuff.
um, you have to be smart to invent them, why do you have to be smart to wear them? "Doc its so bright i cant see **** out there" "Wear these.." "okay thanks doc"...no intelligence needed...

Only problem with that is I believe it was an overcast day with a high chance of rain. Maybe it cleared off before the game though.

If you hear any interview with Winston, he is always talking about trying to get some attitude on the team and especially the O-line. He was livid when people started accusing the O-line of not standing up for their Qb at times a couple of years ago and the next game he made a point to knock several guys on their asses on the backside of the plays after they knocked Schaub down.
Oh and as far as fighting him. He is 6'7'' 315lbs, Cushing is a beast and I would never want him after me but Winston is a monster. Ill pass on both if I have the chance.

The lenses that he wears are not Amber or Grey... they are blood red.
He has also been wearing them for a few years now if I remember correctly, but he had them on all year last year. It is actually to give him an edgy look and not for some visual benefit. Seeing the color red actually wears the eyes out, it does not aid in focus or give any other visul benefit other than a possible prescription.

Did anybody see Vanden ******'s eyes yesterday? He has red contacts, I guess to make himself look scary. Well the Texans have a freaking caveman on their team and he freaking lit that Red-Eyed punk up....
YOU AND ME PUNK! YOU AND ME!!!!!
They always mention it everytime we play hes had them for 3 years atleast. gotta say anything to give you an edge. Scariest D lineman I ever saw was alonzo Spellman that dudes eyes were just downright scary

FYI.... mario was seperating ppl and pulling his players back. He got in the middle cuz mario is one of the biggest dudes on the field and he is mature and realized the situation. So he got in the middle to protect his players from making a mistake!
Way to go Mario, A pros pro.
