I'm not one to EVER post articles here, but I can't help it. This one from Dale just got me fired up, and smilin' from ear to ear.

No Titans misdeed, real or imagined, went unnoticed. At one juncture, Texans right tackle Eric Winston challenged Kyle Vanden Bosch to put up his dukes.

“Let's go,” Winston said. “Right now.”

Winston explained that Vanden Bosch “gets on too many piles and falls around too much; I thought they were targeting (tight end) Joel (Dreessen) a little bit.

“So if I feel like they are going after him, I'm going to go after them. He's my guy. If I want to be a leader on this team and set an example, then it's on me to do it.”

The final part of that quote sends chills up my spine. Eric Freakin' Winston talking like that!


Now, THIS is football! WOOOOOOO!

Somebody get me some kool-aid, I feel the need to drink me into a frenzy!

Yeah, you could read Winston's lips. Van Den what's his face wanted no part of that. Maybe Van D could get a gig in the WWE, but they might be too tough for him. Finally, a guy that believes in an eye for an eye. I still want to see a defensive player get to the other team's QB and put his a@@ on the ground hard like team's do to Schaub.

I would love to see Winston as a DE bull rushing some poor LT or RT back into the QB

When it's football season, I'm ready for next Sunday when the current Sunday ends. Which sucks because I want the weekend to hurry through Friday & Saturday.

When you see the intensity on the field like we saw Sunday, after everything we, the fans, have endured over the years, that wait becomes excrutiating. Then reading this article only makes it tougher.


If that same Texans team shows up, this is going to be one FUN season. Heck, even if they don't it'll still be a fun season, just not as fun.

Let's go Texans. Show them what Mean Street is ALL about!

I have to say, when I saw Winston jawing at Vanden Bosch, it was the first time in a long time I saw a Texan stand up for something in an intimidating way without being an *** about it.

Too often, we would be tough and get a 15 yard penalty, but that actually looked like a guy that had enough and the OL should take notice. Briesel, Myers, Brown, and Studdard need to start playing with that mean streak/attitude.

This is exactly what the Texans needed - Attitude. They just need to bring it every game.

I think Brown does a good job with that. Usually when there is a bad hit on Schaub or another player, D Brown is right there in someones face.
