Could he be another hidden gem(7th round pick), sorta like the DeMeco of last year(since we didnt exactly know we got the DROY in the 2nd round) if you want to say that? All I keep hearing on him are good reviews from local media and Kubiak and how good hes looked in camp and how hes a hard worker ever since he came in. Too bad hes backing up DeMeco or at least I think he is. And no Im not saying Diles is going to be DROY, though wouldnt that be something?

Diles gives us good depth because his ability to play in the middle as well as WOLB. His quickness and nose for the ball are what the coaches keep talking about and tha's whyhe will make the final roster.

well I doubt he can play safety but it sure looks like he can play some LB. Kubes can't say enough good things about him. I think he'll be an impact player on special teams this year, then look to break into the starting LB group next year.

I think if he is really that good, then greenwood gets cut. we could get the same numbers from him and he is cheap. any thoughts?

Yeah I dont think he gets cut either, and I believe they play 2 different LB positions, but Im sure he could learn Greenwood's job.

If he is that good, then why not have him at WOLD and Ryans at MLB, that would really shore up the LB core

Kubiak said that if he keeps performing like he has been that they won't be able to keep him out of the starting lineup. I'm curious at strongside or weak. We've heard good things about charlie anderson and danny clark and i'm wondering if he may be pushing greenwood.
