Texans Win....Cowboys lose!

OK.......again his season the Texans Win....Cowboys lose!

Both Texans & Cowboys are 2-2 right now.

And you might notice that last the time the Cowboys lost before today was also on a day the Texans won.

So.....thus far....when Texans win.....Cowboys lose!:D

Apparently the trend is that only one NFL team in Texas can win per week.

Now....with that said.......I hope the Cowboys lose the rest of their games this season!!!!:rolleyes:

Well, its a thought anyway. I know there is no real sense in the logic, but it sure is fun to contemplate.

All my Cowboys hate stems from back in the Oilers days. When we had a NFL team in Houston & half the people here would root for the Cowboys even over their OWN CITY'S TEAM! I vowed then & there to never root for the Cowboys EVER! People in Houston who used to root against their OWN team made me sick. So yea......I dont like the cowgirls, never have, never will......and yes, I take it VERY personally. :eek:

...further that note: Jerry TRIED to come in and "pick us up" Oiler fans, make us like his godchild San Antonio after the move. But, for those of you who refused I commend (I know that sounds stupid)-- but I was a 20 something through all of this, and he quickly realized we were NOT a part of his bit, and never will be. I dang sure didn't watch the cowboys except to pull for whoever they were playing.
I grew up pulling for the oilers and developed my total dislike of the cowboys then. When people that should be pulling for the oilers said they were cowboy fans just because they were winning.

I have no problem with Dallas fans that grew up in the Dallas area but when they grew up here and claim to be Cowboy fans -- Can't stand 'em and never will.

Me, I watched any team but the Cowboys. New Orleans, Green Bay, etc. I watched the Oilers from 1962 to the day they left. The day they left, I didn't watch them or the Cowboys. Holier than thou Cowboy fans make me sick.

I used to respect the team until Jerry Jones bought them. After that I did not even have respect for them.

i agree!!! my wife and I hate the cowboys and we dont let anyone wearing cowboys gear into our home,we give them a shirt to put over the cowboys shirt they have on or make them take off their hats

they are just angry because the Cowboy's are America's team. That is the only reason for the hate.

Wow, strike number 2. They are NOT america's team. Sure some can consider them that, but I am a part of america, and I will never root for that organization. They live on past glory, and a good number of their fans believe the world revolves around Texas stadium. They are my #1 least favorite team, followed closely by the Titans.

Back when the Oilers left, I watched New Orleans. Anything but Dallas. I was not a Dallas fan ever, but I had a lot of respect for them before Jerry Jones bought them and Tom Landry was coach. After Jerry Jones they became a team with no class. I was raised on the AFC and grew up (not born) in Mississippi when Archie Manning was the hottest thing since jalapeno peppers at Ole Miss. Just do not like the Cowboys or 80% of Cowboy fans. Most are obnoxious and live on past glory. I'm not a pittsburgh fan either so shoot me.

As a fan of both, this kind of sucks.

Because I've noticed at least since last season that one of my three favorite teams always loses. And really, the Cowboys SHOULD have won this game, Denver's defense is very good from what I saw today but Romo or gimpy Roy Williams haven't done us any good.

I see most of the deep hate stems way back...maybe 15-20 years ago? It might be healthy for people to end the bitterness and move on. I mean, it's not like the cowboys are the powerhouse they used to be in the 90s. And about Jerry Jones, probably the smartest business man in the NFL and he made the cowboys "America's Team". in west texas, they didn't show oilers games more than half of the time (the same is true of the texans, i had to get NFL sunday ticket just to watch texans games)

in odessa, there is even an nfl pro shop....you can find gear for just about any team, even lions or rams but no......wait for it......you guessed it NO TEXANS!!!!! it's like a conspiracy by jerry or something!

Exactly!!! All the Cowboy fans I know will never give me props for our team, NEVER!! They call Andre Johnson average at best, so they will never get my respect. My dad was a hardcore, I mean HARDCORE oilers fan. When they left to Tennessee we just followed whatever team would be broadcasting in our tv, lol.

I LIVE in Dallas area, Dallas fans would rather kiss an Eagles fan on mouth then say something nice about Texans....is nothing but snide comments and cheapshots...as to a TRUE Dallas fan do any of those still exist??
