I thought Vince was benched in favor of Collins? Didn't Collins get the Titans to a 10-0 start last season? It seem's their 0-4 start this year has caused Vince to become their fans great savior once again.

I think Vince's time in Tennessee is done. I dont see him getting playing time either. If he didnt see any during yesterdays loss, it might be safe to say they'll just stick with Collins through thick and thin. "With the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th, or 5th pick in the draft, the Tennessee Titans select _______, QB, University of _______." The Titans could very well be 0-6 heading into their bye week come week 7.

Vince played pretty well in the preseason games. I know it was against non-starters, 2nd and 3rd stringers. But he still played well. Don't forget he did win Rookie of the Year.

If the Titans lose another game, I wouldn't be surprised if they throw Vince Young into the game and see whether he can performed. I think they have to make a contract decision on whether to keep Young or not by the end of this year.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but VY should at the very least, should get a chance to put his team on the board. The Titans were great last year, but that was last year, and Jeff has not made enough changes in his defense or offense to make up for the loss of Scwartz (?) to Detroit, and of course Haynesworth. If this were my team, but it's not-I love the Texans, I would be all over the message boards yelling for a change, and a chance to win.

What bothers me about Vince is that whenever the Titans are on he is just sitting on the sidelines listening to his I-pod. If he really wanted to show that he was a team player he would be up there signaling in plays and talking to Collins between drives.

Yup. Very telling scene. Kevin Mawae missed a game. He sat with a play card and headphones the entire game listening to the OC. Vince was planning his next sausage party.

I sent the old codger an email, called him out, and dared him to put his future QB in. Yep I went to bat for VY, told Bud how great he is and Fish just dislikes him that's why he is on the bench. I said "Bud, if you ever had a pair, or even thought you could spell NFL, you'd set your coach straight and play VY."

Even though i've never joined the titans board i have been banned from seeing any content on your link. I'm guessing they are calling to start VY.

If Bud still isn't sure what he has with Vince he ought to give Fisher a pass and go ahead and start him for a few of games to convince himself one way or another.

There's no way to make a further evaluation without getting him on the field.
