I wonder what the terms are other than a 6 year deal? There's no way the 9ers would've caved to his demands is there? That would be stupid on there part.

He's a joke and all his teammates will see him that way.

Good, now Mike Singletary probably can't wait to get his hands on this joker and set him straight.

It's a 6 year deal that can be voided by the club after 5 based on performance and playing time. Schefter said in a follow-up that this deal is not as lucrative as the one he had on the table in August.

That is certainly good to know. I love it when athletes hurt themselves because of their stupidity. The way Crabtree goes about his business, I see a future case of a bankrupt former millionaire.

Hahaha. Holding out like this will turn the fans and team against him. What an *****.

I seriously think he waited this long because he wanted to make sure he was 100%, without a doubt recovered from his ankle injury. I'm guessing he didn't want the stigma of being a rookie Top 10 pick in Training Camp with an injury, or the chance of him reaggravating it, right off the bat.
He signed this morning for less money than he was asking for, so that should tell you financial reasons weren't his motive for the holdout.

I still want to know what the contract was. Maybe he signed for less, but get so much for a catch. Maybe more money for a 10 catch game . Remember we redid A. Green contract for less, but he got bonus for meet certain thing. Maybe something like that was put in the contract.

On sportscenter they said it was a 20 million dollar deal. He is a good player and he is a upgrade for sure to Brandon lloyd. His first game might be against the Texans.

That's a better deal. So his hold out worked somewhat. He still didn't get what he wanted.

I think he held b/c he probably thought the 49ers would be a sucky team and he could bully his way to a contract he liked...now that they seem to be playing well w/o him his leverage dropped, either way it was a bad move...also it seems as though the 49er's offensive coordinator thinks he has more to learn than they thought:

Crabtree is going to make his NFL debut as a 49er in Houston of all places, this should be good!
