Thoughts on today's game....

We showed great heart today....it was on the verge of getting ugly.

That being said our biggest problem is that we have yet to show up and play for 4 quarters on both sides of the ball simultaneously.

Our defense played solid today and our offense didn't take advantage of it.....we have shown flashes of being very good on both sides but cannot put it together simultaneously.

The most depressing thought I have today is that our 2 wins have come against teams with a combined 1 win. Where does that put us? We should have won 2 of our 3 losses but didn't.......that speaks volumes.....I love the Texans and will still be living and dying with each snap next weekend but, we must have that breakthrough moment where we start winning these types of games.

Nothing matters beyond the fact that the number in the L column got bigger today. Period.

I have no idea if the return of Reeves had anything to do with the second half d but he did make some good plays on the ball to keep the game from getting out of hand and giving the o a chance to come back. Hate the fact that they lost after so much effort in coming back but love the heart that enabled them to do so.

This team has the players and the ability to become very good. Here is to the hope that they do.
