This team could win if Coaching was just average.

It is a shame. This coaching staff is holding this team back.
1. Very poor judge of talent. Fred Bennett was the starter at the beginning of the season. Very slow to realize their mistake. Cost possibly 1 game.
2. The offensive coordinator Shan/Kubiak live in LA LA land in reference to what they have on offense. They could have won this game easily if they had opened it up from the beginning. They have a problem thinking they have to establish the run from the beginning. So they always start behind the 8 ball.
3. The Coaching staff has a MAJOR problem thinking they can run their offense with undersized players upfront. The GAME HAS PASSED THEM By. Worse though is they don't know it.
4. To worried about following coaching myths instead of just winning.
5. This COACHING STAFF JUST DOES NOT HAVE it.

I know players make the plays and when they don't you lose.
a. Matt throws INT for pick..
b. Matt rushes throw and overthrows TD pass
c. Matt goes long on 4th down and throws into double or triple coverage.

But that is a whole other story.

Agreed. While today nothing stands out other than the poor play calling there have be plenty of examples within recent memory where Kubiak has spotted the other team 7 points due to his stupidity...

how is it bad play calling when the interior line cannot execute? the coach didnt tell matt where to throw it. we are just a few players away.. unfortunately the draft is not until april..

I love the fact that some of you are actually posting what I have since Kubiak's frist game. The man's ego will not let him play our best game. Kubiak " we are going to be a run first team" and by god he is right, we are running straight for another year of mediocrity, at best. We are a passing team, of course we would be better at that too if our QB was worth his paycheck. Fire someone now, show Kubiak that NOW is all that matters, and maybe, just maybe Kubiak would get the message and put our best foot forward, and to hell with the run first think that he can't get out of.

The first half of the game was HORRIBLE. WTF is wrong with them not starting hot and opening up a can of whoop a**!?
