Coach has done a respectable job this offseason, in my opinion it is one of the better we have had. To turn around a franchise like the Texans, it takes more than just a couple new players. Reflecting on what has been a fairly active 2007 offseason, are there any different choices or additional moves you would make if it were up to you?

I go along with:
Schaub trade
Green signing
1st round pick Okoye
3rd round pick Jones
signing LB Clark and LB Barber
signing CB Poole
(basically I like all the major moves he did)

However insted of accquiring J. Black, Bennet, and Frye, I would:
draft RB Antonio Pittman in 4th rd
draft OT Gathier in 5th rd supplemental
sign OT Turley to 1 year contract

If it was my call, we'd have picked up the young RB and two potentially nasty offensive tackles. Also Id do everything possible to NOT start the season with CC at FS. Kubiak may still be working on that, they are supposedly discussing FS Wesley with the Chiefs right now. The secondary wont be rock solid, but that would improve it some.

I agree, I think this has been the best offseason thus far. Only time will tell though.

I'm pretty much a special teams fanatic (laugh as you will :D) so I will say you forgot to mention the acquisition of that beast Matt Turk!
