After taking hours to read all of the post after yesterdays heartbreaker...the consensus has been that C. Myers has to go. Too small, too weak, and gets no push...

I totally agree and have been in this boat since the Jags game...what can we do to get Caldwell in there or see some change?? I dont think this team improves or takes a the next step until we solve our problem at the center position.

Yeah, or at least, put Caldwell in the last few minutes of the game. Myers and Caldwell could actually make a decent rotation there. Pull Myers during goal line stands and third and shorts. Put in Caldwell. Especially if you are trying to power it in. Caldwell can man up. Myers does do his job during passing situations. 3rd and short and goal line is not usually passing situations, so give Caldwell the shot.

Just my two cents.

Kubes won't let him go because he is buddy-buddy with Myers.

I say make the switch but you can't really have a rotation at the center position.. the ol center to qb exchange, could lead to fumbles.... How many ex-bronco's do we have left?

Most of us may be getting our wish, then again maybe not. Good news: Caldwell may see some action. Bad news: not at the C spot. Meyers is there to stay at the C position. Briesel got hurt and may be out next game so White and Caldwell will be working at the RG spot. Then again, just because Kubiak says that doesnt mean it will happen but we'll see.

Kalu said on 610 that he heard from insiders that Caldwell is not mentally ready, but he has all the physical tools.
