History says a 10-6 record gets you in the playoffs.

That would mean an 8-3 finish would be required with these remaining games:

@ Bengals
49ERS
@ Bills
@ Colts
TITANS
COLTS
@ Jaguars
SEAHAWKS
@ Rams
@ Dolphins
PATRIOTS

I see losses to 9ers,2 to the Colts, and Dolphins.

You make the call, can this team put it together in time?

The team really could win ALL of these games. The problem is they won't. They are talented enough it's just that they play like *** sometimes.

I'm familiar enough with the visitors of this board to know that reality escapes many of them, that's why there's more "winning" options ;)

We had a 5-1 run last year so a 8-3 mark isnt totally out of the question.

I am already looking at who could possibly help our defense not give up 30 points a game next season. Face it - this team is going nowhere with the defense we have. I am not really sold on Cotton Schaub either. He completely choked yesterday. I don't know if he was too scared to run the ball in to tie the game or what. The throw he made was pathetic too. the play calling was horrible too and the last play. If Kubiack doesn't roll heads after this loss, then his head should roll. Get him out of here. I am tired of watching losers!!!!

Don't count on the texans finishing 8-3 to have a shot of making the playoffs. I am expecting a 5-11 season.

Believe it or not, I don't think Sunday's loss was the end of the world. But getting a wildcard berth seems to be barred by the Jags, who are better this year. Super Bowl winner? I'm going with the Saints.

I'm looking for a Colts v Giants Super Bowl myself, with Eli getting the ring.

My vote: "Get ready for the draft". However, this team as always will go on their 5-0,5-1,4-1,4-2, or whatever streak to end the season when we're already out of it and they'll on a high note, finishing 8-8 again, and we'll head into the offseason thinking we're one piece away and have that annual prediction of "breakout team" yet again.


Easy as 1,2,3,4.

1. Start slow
2. Finish Strong
3. Fool the fans [& themselves]
4. Repeat

I'm really worried since we have yet to beat a team that has an even or winning record. I can see a lot of positives, but it seems like our weaknesses are bigger than our strengths. I don't know what the answer is. Our whole O-line was pushed back a couple yards every time we tried to smash it in. The 3rd down pass call was the right call. We had it open and Schaub just missed the throw, but on 4th I thinkk we should have spread em out. Hind sight is 20/20 though. We have a must win(lots of them actually) coming up.

Bengals will come down to the last minute. SF has been exposed for the fraud that they are. Bills are terrible. Titans are garbage. Texans will get revenge on the Jags. Seahawks are awful on the road. Rams are pathetic.

If it comes down to the last minute in the Bengals, ahh we all know how that ends up.;) We happen to end up on the losing end. I'm not ready to call SF a fluke or fraud, Singletary will always have his team ready to play. I'm not sure I can say the same about our coach.:cool:
