last season when we had a top 5 offense kubiak was making the play calls. we have lost against the jaguars and the cardinals because of poor offensive play calling on the goal line.. if your offensive coordinator who is making the calls isnt getting it done and our offense isnt as good as it was last year then the obvious solution would be to have kubs be in charge of play calling.
oh and a side note. our defense wasnt the problem sunday..and our secondary is becoming more and more cohesive and by next week reeves will be starting and i feel that between pollard and d robs hard hitting and wilson and reeves speed we will have the best secondary we have had in a while.

if we can get the running game going, then we are complete.

If we can get the team to be consistent and play 60 minutes of football on both sides of the ball, we'll be complete.

If we can get wins when it counts then we are complete...
still love the Texans thou :)
If we can play all four quarters and manage to stop any team on 3rd down, we will win most of our games. So far, we have been unable to do either. Last week, I was disappointed that we did not use all our receivers in the first half. It seems we were only looking for Johnson and forgot about the TE and other good receivers on the team. That changed in the 2nd half.

In my opinion and I may be wrong but i feel we try to get to cute with this zone blocking scheme instead of hitting them in the mouth and knocking them on their a**. We have two tackles who have come from programs that lived on this type of blocking and maybe we need to use it a little more to be effective.
