There are four games until the Bye week. We play the Bengals, 49ers, Bills and Colts. If we lose 3 of 4 that would make the record 3-6. At the Bye week would be a logical time for a change. I hate to say it, but I can see us losing 3 of 4.

We could also win 4 of 4... That's the problem. Which team is gonna show up?

And how does losing games cause relief?

Wow what fans we have. If I'm guessing he would like to see us lose 3 out of 4 so Kubiak could possibly get fired. Some of yall... there's just no explanation.

I see relief in a new HC and GM. These guys have had their chance. The fourth year and not a winning season yet. Other coaches have started with as much and won in four years. They have been drafting defense ever since Kubiak and his crew got here. It still is no good.

Do you see relief in them trading a player like demeco Ryans, Andre Johnson, or Mario Williams to stockpile new talent that fits the new system? Get used to it the browns jettisoned almost all their skill position players to free up cap space to make over the roster.

Even the denver broncos cut ties with Jay Cutler. and Kubiak had very little talen as evidenced by only Kris Brown, andre johnson, chester pitts, are the only players left from previous regime.

I am sure you are aware that won't happen and is not needed. With a few tweaks the team could be good. They are close. Kubiak is not the one to lead them. The Center position is an example of a tweak that is needed and he won't budge on that

depends on the regime. if they want to transition back to a 3-4 defense. IE a cowher or a Jerry gray they will transition players as needed.

No one is safe ask Braylon edwards and Kellen Winslow in Cleveland, all they needed was a running game. and secondary help 2 years ago now look at them.... its a firesale out there.

He didn't say he was hoping we'd lose 3 of 4, rather he could see it. Colts are playing stong as are the 49er and Cinncy. Buffalo we should beat. But I wouldn't bet the farm on those other 3 games. Not the way we've been playing. The two teams we've beat have a combined record of 1-9...not excactly world beaters that we've racked up our 2 wins against.

I hope you and the others who dissed me are correct and everything I have posted in the last few minutes is completely wrong. It is just that my confidence in the team took a terrible blow Sunday.

You guys make me sick.

I have now heard three NFL players, and the Texans players lay the blame for the inability to score two weeks in a row from the 1 yard line squarely on the players. NOT on schemes, or coaching, or play calls, or personnel. On the players we had in the game, at the time.

Kalu said that Schaub could have told the defense we were running it through the A gap, and 1 out of every 4 at least we should have punched it across.

The 49ers are nice as a whole but they aren't world beaters yet. The Bengals are a sick looking defensive team but I maintain we have a shot at beating them, heck the team is still so unloved in their home the game might be blacked out over in Cinncy. The Bills, I am somewhat worried about because its a road game and the team itself isn't great which means the Texans may play down to them and give their level as they have done so in the past. We shouldn't lose to them but then again, the Jaguars are another team that we should have walked away from with a W.

We've nearly had the Colts both times last season with Sage at the helm, the way I see it if the offense doesn't slow down due to our current o-line issue and we continue to score and our defense holds out long enough, we should be able to split with the Colts this season easy. Our defense appears to be better this season, so I think we might have a very good shot at handling the Colts.

The way I see it, as long as their is only a minimum drop off in production on all phases of the ball, we should be fine to at least still be in the playoff hunt in December.

Thats certainly comforting, knowing what world-beaters we are....
