Went to get an idea on what the Bengals fans think of this weekends game, and found this.

The one thing that pissed me off the most is this post:
"They have never been very supportive of their team."

Way to go! Everytime I check an opponants message board, the consensus is that we are dangerous and not to be taken lightly, but the fans are fickle. And once again, this is the topic on yet another opponants board.

You need to quit reading all that babble and not worry so much about what the other teams are saying, and as for the fans comment whatever you know whos who and whats what. Im not worried about naysayers and band wagoners. Neither should you be, what im worried about is coming out with a win then reading their board its not like its a home game anyway the Texans fans are going to have nothing to do with it. FICKLE wow speak for yourself I know some pretty dedicated Texans including myself. We will win this game!!

I'm not calling anyone fickle. The other boards are doing it. Just thought I would bring it to light so some of the arguers here calling for heads can see how silly they look to others. We win this Sunday. I don't need any convincing of that. I just enjoy getting the other half of the story leading up to the game.

Who cares what the Bungles fans think. Who are they to speak? They're facing a potential blackout for this game, which is sad.

Right on. At least when our team sucks we show up and watch. Even when they are winning all the Bengals fans can arrive at the game in the same smart car.

I do not see any reason to be embarrassed. Why should we not be upset that our team fails to live up to its potential? Why should we demand victory? Should we just shut up and pretend that the way this team has played so far is acceptable?

I know we've sold out the games, but seriously a bunch of those ppl don't even show up. On top of that by the time the last 2 minute warning hits the stadiums already going on half empty. I know there's a ton of dedicated fans out there, but honestly I feel where their fans are coming from.

Still, their fans are the same way. "Bandwagoners" if you wanna call them that. Too bad they cant leave the games because they dont SHOW UP! Sorry, no one will convince me that they have better fans or they have the right to say this or that about our fan base when theirs is almost exactly similar. I'm not saying our fan base is great, but those Bungles fans are just silly, should stop talking, and start showing up to the games.:o

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/10/14/bengals-game-nowhere-close-to-selling-out/

Not good news for the Bungles fans.

The Cincinnati Bengals have sold out 46 straight games, dating back to 2003.

And now that the Bengals are off to a 4-1 start, they're staring down the barrel of a blackout.

Bengals P.R. director Jack Brennan told WCPO-TV on Wednesday that "it's not looking good" and the Week Six game against the Texans is "nowhere close to selling out."

Per the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Bengals must have fewer than 1,500 tickets remaining in order to qualify for an extension of the 72-hour deadline for selling all non-premium seats.

And they're nowhere close to that number, either.

We could understand this if the Bengals were playing like, you know, the Bengals.

But these are THE BENGALS! They've beaten the Steelers and the Ravens and the Packers, and they're poised to contend for a playoff berth.

It could be that, with back-to-back home games against the Texans and the Bears, fans have opted to buy tickets to the Chicago game instead of the Houston game.

Who dey?

Who dey?

Who dey ain't gonna be watchin' that game!

they're probably goin broke up there since the politicians shipped all the factory jobs overseas.

if things keep getting bad we may be in the same boat, even if we have a winner.

I agree! Why the heck is he even spending one second on what other teams fans think? What a waste of time.

Same reason I waste my time here. I like football.
And it's nice to see what opposing fans think of their upcoming game against us, gives me another perspective on key matchups. Not to mention its also nice to see that they have as many doomsdayers as we do after a loss.

:confused:Is there something so wrong with that?

I love football but don't care one iota of what other teams fans think of us, much less being "embarrassed" over their thoughts. Lol.

If that's the case, it would have been just as easy to skip over this thread to the many other thought provoking threads on this forum. But instead you cared enough to leave your wisdom behind, so thank you.
