I DONT KNOW BOUT ALL OF U FANS OUT THERE BUT CHRIS MYERS OUR CENTER IS GETTING DOMINATED EVERY GAME BY THE OTHER TEAM,HES JUST TOO UNDERSIZED THIS YEAR TO HANDLE A GUY 50 PLUS POUNDS HEAVIER THAN HIM AND 4 OR 5 INCHES TALLER.THATS WHY OUR SHORT YARDAGE PLAYS ARE BUSTED UP.THEY GET IN THE BACKFIELD BY THE TIME GETS THE BALL.U CANT RUN ANY PLAYS WHEN THE MIDDLE IS ALWAYS COLLAPSING:mad:

Yea, he got man-handled in that game (as well with others) and I do agree that he's here to stay :(

No wonder Denver gave us him for was it a 6th round pick? Or maybe friends helping friends out.

Myers was being man handled last year. This year he just looks worst. He's tall but he doesn't have the muscle for center. He is slow off the ball, and the NT gets under his pads. But he is the main reason that our run game is bad. The D attacks him and he can't hold his ground.

Seriously, it'd be great to have our own identity!

I was thinking of that just the other day... What are the Texans? Are we (Shanahan Era) Broncos South?

I don't know about 4 to 5 inches taller than him, the guy is like 6'4" or 6'5" but I agree that he does get pushed back all to often...It seems like it is happening more this year than in the past. I'd like to see Caldwell start getting some reps. I don't know if he is ready to be a full time starter at C but it is time to start educating and getting him ready.

Too bad we didn't think about this when the draft was here. Eric Wood is a monster.

I agree we need to do soething about it. Jumbo packages. Lord knows we have enough TE's to get a jumbo package together.

I think we are all on the same page about this one. This is like the third thread I have seen about this issue in the last two days with myers and our run game. Untill it gets fixed keep'um comin.

Yup, he is a kubiak player. It is sad but true.

Meyers is listed at 6'4", 299 lbs. He is plenty big enough to handle most nose gaurds. I don't think it's a matter of size. I think it's a matter of strength and technique - or the lack of them.

Sounds exaggerated to me. I dont think he is 299 lbs.

if kubiak stays, look for us to draft a big center in the 1st round next year.

then why have caldwell on the roster then???

because he is a versatile linemen, he even played tackle in college. He was familiar with ZBS and he can play guard just fine in the nfl. he is labeled C/G
