Who cares? NFL Network has been pretty good to us compared to other media outlets.
Schaub wasn't awesome in his debut. That's just the truth. Will he improve? Probably.
Don't take that so personally.
I am not seeing what you are talking about.
I found this

Houston at Arizona (Saturday, August 18 at 4:00 PM ET)
New Houston quarterback Matt Schaub (http://www.nfl.com/players/mattschaub/profile?id=SCH085186) leads the Texans against the Cardinals in the first game to be played this season at University of Phoenix Stadium -- site of Super Bowl XLII in February. Cardinals tackle Levi Brown (http://www.nfl.com/players/levibrown/profile?id=BRO548586), the team’s first-round draft choice in April, makes his debut in front of the home fans.

I am not sure how he was supposed to impress with only five throws. Is it because he overshot Walter? That never happens (Favre)!

oooooo, it's pre-season! Impress us!....or not...
Seriously, I've never seen so much hand-wringing and rush to judgements based on one PRACTICE game whose outcome is completely meaningless.

Tough to protest a statement that is truthful. It was unimpressive. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Is it that we wait for football for so long that we are jones-ing for any win, sack, int, fumble forced/recovery, bone-jarring tackle, acrobatic catch, or anything to hold our hopes on that "our" team will succeed? The Superbowl champions lost all their preseason games a year ago and was faltering in the in end of the season allowing us to beat them for the first time ever! Not that we didn't earn it or I didn't enjoy it...but I digress...it's the freaking PRESEASON guys...I know we want to see better play and believe me I think this will be a very exciting season. I was **** near finished with the team....secretly in my mind......waaaay in the back. But you got to be realistic in the fact that it does take an amount of time to gel as a team...even the first four games in a season can't tell the how your team will fair...I remember when the Chargers were here and that was a team I knew we should have beaten because I think they were 1-3 at the time but went 12-4 for the season....so calm down

It wasnt impressive. This next game will give us a better look at Schaub. I mean a 54% and 6 TDs to 6 Ints is what we have to go off of until tomorrow. DOnt get frustrated with the NFL Network. Now that old #8 is gone we can actually work on what is truly wrong with the team, the O-Line and Schaub wont end up shell shocked after to long.
What they do in Preseason will follow in the regular season.
THAT'S A FACT, JACK!
Well....I think the Colts went 0-4 and the Raiders went 4-0 last year so...
I agree to an extent but I also think teams try to guage where they are rather than win a game. I think Schaub could have ran that Play action pass to the tight end Vs. the Bears, but I bet they wanted to see what our Run game in the red zone would look like. They ran the same play three times and did not get anywhere. I got upset but ehhh, it probably told the coaches something.
I dont think Kubiak was happy with much of the team Vs. the Bears, so I am guessing this next game wil be a better guage on our team.
