In the post game analysis, we are not for real because our defense repeatedly gives up big plays...

DOES DAN MARINO HAVE A TV OR JUST HAPPENED TO IGNORE THE LAST 5 TEXANS GAMES! Our D is leading the league in 3 and outs and has shut down all our opponents to less than 50 yards rushing after our first 3 games.

So again... what big plays do we always give up Dan Marino?

I do not think I would trade our D for another D in the league right now. Cushing is fun to watch and he is elevating our D right now.

I WOULD NOT MIND LOSING OUR STUPID ATTEMPT AT A PREVENT D LATE IN GAMES THOUGH!!!

We've also been shutting teams out in the second half on the scoreboard.

Half of these "experts" dont watch the Texans.

DAN MARINO! what did he play kickball?

He's probably thinking of the first 3 weeks (this defense is totally different now) and last week with Vernon Davis' 3 2nd half td's. Last time I checked it was Cincinnatti that gave up the most big plays (of 20 yards or more) in the league and they are doing fine. I doubt Marino has watched a Texans game this season, it's only an opinion, no big deal.

Hey DDDDDDAN look at the last 5 games we have given up 21 pts. in the second half.... all against the 9'ers. Your homerism for the Dolphins is obvious. I used to respect you now I think you are a DA that has no idea what you are talking about.

21 pts by 49ers LAST WEEK in the second half wasnt really a "shutdown on the scoreboard".

They need to look good agaisnt a strong team like Indy to get respect nationally.

I like watching our D that we have grown here in our own town! They are young and explosive, in a few years the Steelers will be wishing they had OUR D!

Dude, the Steelers are consistently one of the best defenses in the league. Last week, they won the game for the team. They are almost to be envied.

No, my point is that I have been cheering for our D and these players to turn the corner. Our team has made a ton of changes to GROW our defense to the point it is at. I take our D warts and all simply because I have been cheering my head off for years for them to finally turn a corner.

After all the support I have poured into this defense and all the heartache we have endured on that side of the ball... Bush is getting these guys in line and they are playing some solid D! I wouldn't trade that for some other teams established defense just to make things easier.

OK, brother, I get it. If the Texans get to the Steelers level, they will dominate and it would be great to see.

I just heard that over the last 5 games the Texans Defense has held teams to 3 and out better than any other team. At a little over 326% in the last 5 games we lead the league.

Because the Steelers are that amazing as a whole team this season? If our team can keep up the level of play they have shown, they do not need to be LIKE anyone else in the league.

Well, they do have six SB championships and largely considered the model franchise of the league. What is so wrong with wanting to be like one of the elite teams?

Look I saw the post game too. And I admit, it made me angry. Literally, it seemed they didn't know what to say about the Texans. They have not been seeing the games, quite obvious. I think the NFL has been expecting the Texans to be the Clippers of the NFL; a predictable loser for the franchise History.

You hear one announcer saying the Texans are finally over .500! Then Marino says, that the Texans give up a lot of big plays. Blah, blah, blah...

But you know what, I don't blame anyone for not caring to watch the Texans for the past 8 years. For the past 8, the ones who've been watching are true Texans fans. There haven't been any bandwagons rolling out. It isn't until now that the bandwagons are beginning to take form.

If you look at the Next 8 games. A 5-3 records is very very realistic. Tennessee, Jacksonville, Seattle, Miami, St. Louis, New England, and Ind (2 times). Of course no game should ever be taken lightly, because this is the NFL. But, wow the schedule does look favorable.
