Matt Schaub: #1 ranked QB
Peyton Manning: #2 ranked QB
(Per NFL.Com)

A.J.: #1
Wayne: #2

Schaub is 3-1 on the road with. 114.5 QB rating. 68.2% completion rating. 10 TD's and 4 INT's.

Schaub has played 4 games indoors and has a QB rating of 88.7, 62.2 completion % with 5 TD's and 3 INT.

Schaub has posted his best game of the year playing on field turf. 124.2, 70% completion, 392 yards with 4 TD's and 1 INT.

Peyton Manning is 3-0 at home with a 100.9 QB rating, 74.7%, 327 yard per game, 3 TD's and 2 INTs.

Per Yahoo sports.com Schaub has only faced Indy 1 time in the last 3 years. QB rating of 83.1, 27 of 33 for 236 yards 1 TD 2 INT, 3 sacks and 2 fumbles.

Peyton Manning has faced the Texans 14 times. 116.5 QB rating, 71.4%, 33 TD's, 5 INT, sacked 16 times and 4 fumbles.

Thats about it. Should be a good game. I think when you have Peyton manning and until proven otherwise he is still the man to beat. If Schaub and the Texans want to make a statement that they are the new kids on the block and the future of the AFC south then they are going to have to go into the lions den and slay the beast where he sleeps.

The numbers and history are against the Texans. This is going to come down to how bad do they want it.

Reminds me of the setting for the Monday Night Tacks game last year. We will need that same SuperBowl intensity to win this game.

I thought this was interesting as well:

Take out the 1-2 start and compare us and the Colts over the last 5 games.

Texans(4-1) ------ Colts(5-0)

PF--PA ------- PF--PA
133-82 ------- 156-56

Opp. record overall

17-20 ------- 10-27

Just cant see this not being a winnable game for us. Especially them dominating us. Go Texans.

I agree. It should be a great game! And yes, the game where the Texans can REALLY make a statement. If I were a player on the Texans, I'd be looking forward to it. I'd be chomping at the bit for it. If I were Kubiak, I'd be psyching my team up on that basis, "We going in there to make a statement! We ARE the new kids on the block. We have the talent, we have the will!" That sort of thing.

I'd have my team so hungry for raw meat, the colts will look to them like veal......  :D

Out of that whole post this is all you got out of it. You should lol at yourself. I dont know what you came here expecting but if you want to be bowed down to go turn on BSPN.

Our team has done a 180 since the 1-2 start. I guess teams and circumstances dont matter to us either. But please enlighten me. What am I missing as far as circumstances. 10-27 what am I missing out of that?

If we are "for real" then you can throw all thos numbers & stats out the window. we've played them enough, that they know us, we know them, & the numbers shouldn't give us an accurate preview of the game.

We can score points, they can score points... but we know that's not the best way to beat the Colts.

We need to run the ball well.... not something we've done a lot of. & we've got to be effiecient on all our possesions, especially in the red zone. Another thing we haven't done well.

If we get into a shootout, I can't see how anyone can pick the Texans to win. Not that we won't/can't, but a shootout favors the Colts.... again, like I said, you've got to throw the numbers out the window.

Not necessarily. Numbers are numbers and they're there for a reason or wouldnt be kept up with. As a matter of fact as far as this year goes numbers are all we have to compare these two teams. Schaub has only played them once two years ago and the team he has is alot better than the one he had then. That is another reason why I took out the 1st 3 games. People want to dwell on that and our last 5 and the previous 3 are daylight and dark. After week 3 we were dead last in defense. We have jumped over several team since then by shutting down some good RBs. That is impressive and that is why numbers are so important. Also the team that went toe to toe with the Colts last year is waaaay better this year because of the QB position. all the other improvements are just a bonus. This is going to be a good game. Cant wait.

Lets be honest, this may just as easily be 16-9 with the winner being the one who wins the field position and turnover battle. Sure I want our fellas to win, and they can of course...but I think this is much more even than anyone wants to admit.

Any given Sunday of course, but PM is the best at the position. TOP, give/take on turnovers and who ends up being frustrated more with lack of production on offense.

If someone can tell Frank, dance with the one who brought you. In otherwords, do not let up on what is working....Place the entire stable of personnel who are on the prevent team on the inactive list. A 6 point lead with 2 seconds left is no time to let up! Get in receivers face every play and frustrate the operation.

Just rode up on my colt, how do you like her, ain't she a beauty! She can run like the (win), but golly she can also get awful thirsty!

Na' I'm just messin' with you folks. No really I'm expecting a great game come Sunday. I'm really proud of the way the Texans franchise is bringin' your team along I expect a tight game, that your boy's could win, especially the way my boys played against those 49er's. Got a blackeye, and a bloody nose in that game, but hey we beat those raskalls.

If you like to play the Stat's game, forget it, Peyton Manning didn't even throw a touchdown against the Niner's, I bet that's a stat he'd like to forget.

I just wanna' say good luck, the best to you all, and may the best team win on Sunday. Come and visit us on our board, we don't mind visitors, heck sometimes we feed em' some vidles, Not really! We work at the same place you do, AMERICA.

You can find our board under my profile, not going to spam, gettin' too old to fart around like that anymore.

Oh dear... the cat is out of the bag!

Yes I was flying high after the win and I wish this team could just shut out teams and score 2 TDs so I wouldn't have to spend the rest of my day trashed.

The 3 FGs at the start of the game followed by the 3 Moats TDs... the team tried to kill me yesterday!

At least my point about the intensity the Texans played the Tacks last season came across right? :o

I am shocked by 9.5 points they still don't know if A Gonzalez or Donald Brown will play, also Kelvin Hayden and Ty Hagler both left the game with injuries....... They were 12.5 faves to SF and didn't cover, I am not a betting man (with serious dollars) but I'd take the points all day long, just hope we catch a break here or there and win it out right, zero turnovers and force a turnover or two and this is our game to lose.

How is the Colts scoring offense ranked below the Texans when they average more ppg? You clearly have something wrong there.

As for the rankings of the QBs and WRs, I assume you are ranking them by total passing yards and recieving yards. The Texans have played one more game than the Colts have. In case you didn't know Peyton Manning is averaging more yards per game (318.1 to 292.8), touchdowns per game (2.14 to 2), and has a higher QB rating (109.3 to 100.5). Reggie Wayne is also averaging more receptions (7.3 to 5.5), touchdowns (.75 to .5) and yards (98.4 to 87.1) per game than Andre Johnson.
