Had it scoped today. Apparently it happened during practice last week. I only heard a small portion of Kubiak's radio interview though.:o

Dreesen was probably going to be the main man at TE anyway.

Hope Hill is ready. Has yet to see any action this season, let alone even suit up on gamedays. (What a wasted pick:rolleyes:)

not so wasted now..our offense works best with at least 2 TE's if we didnt get hill we'd be down to 1

Casey is such a hard***!!! Played pretty much the whole game with a torn ligament in his knee...

Get back soon James, we need you...

If James really steps up and becomes a legit target for Matt, just think about next year when Owen is back and we can play with two good recieving TE's. That would really improve our redzone O.

All of this sounds like we got hit with the unlucky but but on the bright side....Do you know how hard we just made it for the Colts to plan for us? Instead of Slaton being our only back we now have the choice to rotate between the three backs (Slaton, Moats, Brown). On top of that, they don't have any clue on how we will rotate Dreesen/Hill.

I know this doesn't really make it sound that much better but this actually might work into our favor?

Kevin Walter has his chance to shine.

No body had heard of Tom Brady before a fluke injury either. Coaches are too dependent on rankings that are based on whatever they are based on instead of letting backups have a shot. Sometimes they were what we thought they were other times we discover a gem caked in mud.

Rick Smith knows it is Walter's Contract year, and may be stupid enough to continue to not have the ball thrown to him. In my opinion, at that point, you are rolling the dice on winning and not winning.

Rick Smith is one of the best QBs in the league in my opinion. If he chooses not to throw the ball to Walter I am sure it is because he is covered or not open on that play.

So does David Anderson, he and Jacoby we see more game action that before David had 3 catches for 50+ yards Sunday, Jacoby had two touches and 50+yards that is serious production

Are you sure they will? Rick Smith doesn't want to pay them! :D

YADA YADA YADA whoever thinks there is a conspiracy theory going on here is either perpetually dumb or in need of some serious meds. If Kevin had a quiet year and we were able to resing him to a resonable deal great, if he went for 1200 yards and the Raiders gave him WR1 money we couldn't match it. Jacoby and David both need to start working on earning their next contract now is the time. Andre Davis took advantage of a situation/chance he was given and it has worked out well for him, us too somewhat

Casey needs to be ready for our Monday nighter. However I think Dreessen will do a good job in place of Daniels. Maybe not all the explosion we are accustomed to but good hands and good routes none the less. I just hope at this point we do not have to rely on Hill to much at the TE position.

Hey Guy,

Rick Smith is the General Manager for the Texans, Not a Quarterback. How much do you know about the game, when you post? Just wondering.

That is sarcasm, somebody said that they think Rick Smith doesn't want Walter having a breakout year before free agency, so the Joke being he is the QB

I just started following this team and I am trying to get all these names straight. I thought Rick Smith was the QB and that was why he was in on contract negotiations AND in control of Walter getting the ball.
