CB Perrish Cox isn't a 1st round pick. He is too slow to be an effective NFL CB. He does have the size to be converted to FS. I've seen him play alot and he does seem to be in positin to make plays. He kinda of reminds me of a bigger, slower Dunta. In good position to make hits but can get burned bad by good receivers when in man coverage.

OLB/DE Sergio Kindle while he might go in the 2nd, he will likely be a disappointment for someone. He has almost completely disappeared this year. Again, I've seen him play alot and you hardly ever hear his name called.

Don't think there is anyway Reshad Jones slips to the 4th. If so we better snach him up quick.

We will have to disagree on Cox. Right now he leads the NCAA in passes defended. Perrish has 12 passes broken up this year and 14 passes defended. For his career he has 33 passes defended with 8 INTs. Reportedly he runs in the 4.4s. The kid is a play maker and if he runs a 4.4 at the combine he could be the first CB taken if Haden doesn't declare. Cox's punt and Kickoff returns are also a big plus. At 6'0" and 198 lbs he has the ideal size.

I have watched Kindle every Saturday and his name has been quite when rushing the passer. His overall play has been good even outstanding against the run. Regarding his pass rush skills, remember this is the first year he has played with his hand on the ground and has continually gotten better each week while he becomes more familiar with the position. Muschamp has said Kindle has been nothing but outstanding.

Reshad Jones was a top 5 recruit coming out of high school. Unfortunately he has disappointed with his play at Georgia and the Georgia defense backfield has been the weak link. I think many people expected much more from Reshad. He has been such a disappointment I don't expect him to come out early next year.

Georgia Tech's Morgan to examine NFL draft options

http://www.philly.com/philly/wires/ap/news/state/pennsylvania/20091112_ap_georgiatechsmorgantoexaminenfldraftopt ions.html

He could be there when Texans draft in RD1.

Unfortunately if he is available I doubt that the Texans will take a DE in RD 1 or the draft after giving Antonio Smith $35 million and taking Connor Barwin in RD 2.

I'd take Cody off the board, he hasnt even proven to be a three down player at the college level, Saban said he hasnt earned the right to rush the passer, I think he is going to dissapoint.

Id put Berry at the top of the list. And also add Earl Thomas to that first round list.

Vince Oghobassee and Tony Gerhart should be somewhere on our two to three round range.

If Reshad Jones is a fourth rounder he comes back for a senior year

I thought about putting Berry on top but I went with the Rule of Thumb and Conventional Wisdom and that is, when you have a 5 star player who weighs 300 lbs and a 5 star player who weighs 180 lbs, always go with the 300 lb player.

You know I probably wouldn't have had Cody even listed in the first round but after watching him block two field goals and single handedly beating Tennessee I couldn't help but put him on the list. I bet if you check with Coach Saban he too is singing a different tune about Cody.

To be honest I haven't seen much Vince Oghobassee and Tony Gerhart. After watching Dan Williams collapse the pocket on several occasions I feel he could be a 3rd RD pick.

Perrish Cox gets a couple of picks tonite against Texas Tech. The kid is a playmaker and is moving on up to the 1st Round. He also had 4 PR and 3 KR.

I just prefer Hardesty to Tate. I think he's going to have more NFL success.

Joe Haden to petition for NFL evaluation
http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_college_uf/2009/11/joe-haden-to-petition-for-nfl-evaluation.html

My early predictions say Haden has a good chance to be a Texan especially if they let Dunta walk.

I hope that your right, but I think the Texans will pick around 18-20 and fear that Haden will already be gone by that time. He'd be my #1 pick if he's still on the board though.

If that is the case my early early early mock goes: 1. Bulaga 2. Dan Williams

Agreed

Hardesty is a stud who is finally getting his chance this year and is making the most of his chance.

I like Tate too but Hardesty has more wiggle and is a more well rounded RB. IMO
