I think this speaks for itself as far as how bad the Titans must look. If Keyshawn is choosing retirement over Tennessee, then things must not look good at all.

im really looking forward playing the titans this year. i wouldnt of been scared of keyshawn but i like it like this better... go texans

I'm glad that Keyshawn is retiring. Honestly, I think beating the Titans would be significantly harder if he had gone there.

ESPN is probably willing to pay Keyshawn more than Tennessee is. Plain and simple.
Plus, Keyshawn probably didn't want to go to a rebuilding situation. Carolina had a shot at the playoffs, some folks (Sean Salisbury) picked them to be in the NFC championship game at the beginning of last year. He probably didn't want to work all year with a very slim chance, PrinceVince notwithstanding, of making the playoffs.
