I have looked high and low all over the internet for information about Domanick (Davis) Williams. I can't find ANYTHING. It's as if he's vanished off the face of the earth. At only 26 years old, I would think there'd be something somewhere regarding him. Either he's rehabbing, or he's given up playing pro football -- but I can't find anything anywhere about him. I am hoping you Texan fans could shed some light on his current situation...
BTW, good trade for Schaubbie... he's a good guy and a smart QB. Even though he's not a Petrino-type QB, we obviously could use him if we'd have kept him.
Best of luck (with the exception of one game) this year to Schaubbie and the Texans!

Hes probably doing both. No one around here hears about him, nor do they probably care about him anymore. Last I heard from him was at the end of the season when players cleaned lockers out, which was when he changed his name, and I saw on a sports segment, he was going to continue to rehab and he said he wants to play again. No news since then.

That's what is so odd... no team has had him in for a visit. No news about him going to the CFL, AFL... nothing, nada, zip. Not even anything like, "I'm still rehabbing and shooting for a shot in 2008. NOTHING.
Thanks for the info you did post. If anyone else has anything, thanks in advance for posting it.

With his knee being bone on bone now, I don't see him ever playing again. There's really no rehab for that kind of injury, and he wasn't handling the pain very well.

He was such a good player for us. It is really too bad. This should be in the NFL Section though shouldn't it? I mean, he doesn't play for the Texans.

It should but Falcoholic is new and didnt know so Ill cut him some slack. Mods can move it if they want to.
Domanick (Davis) Williams is in Beau Bridge Louisiana counting the loot he got off the contract he signed just before he discovered he had an inoperable knee, and would never play again. Which is ok, he gave us some good games when we were a down and out team. Now we don't need him anymore. Ahman is doin' it for us now, thank you.

Yeah and if you look at it, most teams have a 2 back system. Though Im not going to say anymore cause that will lead back to the draft, and we dont need to bring that up.

Reggie Bush would not have been the answer to your running game, the texans dont have the best offensive line and Bush is struggling to run behind New Orleans line, Bush would have been a great receiver/returner here but thats it I think.
They should have worked toward the offensive line
I think that whoever said hey lets pass on reggie bush cause we have dominick davis should be fired. Wait , he quit and now has a league office job, while bush went to a franchise that needed to be saved from leaving to new orleans to go to san antonio. HMMMMMM I wonder who was behind that move.

Um then we would have had somewhere around 65 million tied up in 2 HB's. On a team that was last in the NFL on defence. If SA ever gets a NFL team (never happen) I hope you become the GM.

Wow, a non-Texans fan who doesn't think that the Texans were completely and utterly dumb for not taking Bush? I didn't think that was possible :D
Yeah, I thought going into that draft that we should take D-Brick, as it was painfully obvious from the season before that we needed a LT. I only wish that Spencer hadn't been injured, because he looked pretty good from what little we got to see of him.
I only started looking at Bush once it seemed apparent that we would take him, but I quickly got over the shock of the Mario announcement and embraced his selection.
