I noticed in Wednesday's OTA video that Fred Bennett is wearing 32, the mirror image of D-Rob's 23. How awesome would it be if Bennett became a great CB, and with D-Rob our CB pairing was one of the top in the league? Then, no matter which side of the field opposing QB's throw to, they're seeing the same great CB, as both of our CBs are mirror images of each other!
Okay, kinda weak, and Bennett's probably not as physical as Dunta, but I like the idea of them being mirror images of each other. Plus they both went to South Carolina.

I'm interested in how Fletcher will play. I also know people don't like Faggins but man he caused some TOs last year.

Fletcher, to my understanding, will battle Faggins for the NickelBack spot OR Fletcher will play CB and Daunte will slide into the Nickel spot. I have heard rumors that they may try Faggins at one of the Safety spots, He has average coverage skills, better than most Safeties not named Ed Reed, and can hit like a mother. Don;t be suprised if you see Faggins back there during the pre-season games.
I would be shocked if Peetey played anything but nickel, he does not have the hips or the speed to pursue, avg cover skills, but solid tackler, sounds like a strong safety to me, but we have one of those. I look for cc to start a FS but lose the job to fletcher or bennett, with the other taking the CB2 spot. ofcourse if Kubiak just pushes his feelings thru, we could be looking at CC all season. I hope not. FS to me is our weak link.

Kubiak has already stated that CB2 was Petey's spot to lose. I hope we have someone in camp that will be able to overcome Petey.

Petey will lose that job in the first week of pre-season. He's not a good fit for the #2CB spot. Like many others have said, he's best suited for the nickel spot and special teams. Don't get me wrong, I like Petey but his skills are limited.

I agree. Like I said, I hope there is somebody in camp that is talented enough to supplant Petey at the CB2 position.
