Current Texans vs '00-'02 Broncos offense

I thought of this while watching the online video of Kubiak expressing his confidence in Kevin Walters.

Current Texans offense
QB:Matt Schaub
RB:Ahman Green
FB:Vonta Leach
WR1:Andre Johnson
WR2:Kevin Walters
TE:Owen Daniels

2000-2002 Broncos offense
QB:Brian Griese
RB:Terrell Davis
FB:Mike Anderson
WR1:Rod Smith
WR2:Ed McCaffrey
TE:Shannon Sharpe

Each position looks to have a mirror image. The 2000-2002 Broncos offense was toward the top in those three years and their records were 8-8,9-7, and 10-6....I wouldn't complain if the results are the same.

You are crazy if you think taht Walters and Daniels are mirror images to McCaffrey adn sharpe. Not yet at least.

I mean that the two offenses are designed exactly the same...whereas the players at each position are in hopes going to be able to provide similiar syles of game to that position.

That would be great if it were to come true, but I don't see Daniels becoming the guy Sharpe was because Sharpe was such a beast and so freakin fast.
But, if he is half the player sharpe was, I would be stoked.

I see where your going with this. And I think your on the right track as in what is expected from each position. If it pans out, we will be rocking the house this year.
