I saw this rumor not too long ago on the ESPN boards and just kinda shunned it. Now I am seeing it again but on the CBS Sportline website saying to have been published in the Philadelphia Enquirer yesterday.
This could affirm my thoughts on how Chicago really feels about Grossman...

They talked this on NFL Live yesterday. This was just a "what if" by one of the Philly sportswriters. Caused quite the buzz from what I understand.

I guess because he's young, has had some limited success in the past, and might not be in T-Bay's plans for the future. If they could get Briggs for Simms and a couple nobodies, I'd do it if I were them; that would be a steal, and would upgrade their aging defense with some young talent.

Think there's any truth to it?

I doubt it. This would be a HUGE mistake by the Eagles. McNabb is still an All Pro QB with 4 NFC title game appearances and 1 Super Bowl appearance. They have nothing to back him up right now and if they think Kolb is ready they are crazy. It started as just a "what if" scenario but you know how the Philadelphia media loves to run with stuff like this.
