I saw Barry Warner talking about this guy on FSN. He said he's really been turning heads. Said he has a really good chance to be our starting center by mid-season.

Anybody else have any information on this guy?

I don't really know but I saw that he's had 3 years of NFL experience which should mean that Sherman knows a good deal about him and is probably why he came here because he knows Sherman's blocking system and stuff. I hope he does well because if he does well, he will either beat out a Pro Bowler or a veteran center, or they will be better for his competition.

Well he is from Green Bay so Sherman knows something about him. Boy its great to hear even our 3rd string center has a shot at starting that tells you the depth we may have going into the season.

He was on green bays practice squad and when sherman came down here they plucked him for our team. Kubes has mentioned in some interviews that he is really impressing him and they want to get a look at him. I would not be surprised when ever flanigan or mckiney get hurt this year like they always do that we will probably see what chris white has got.

McKinney injured?--only in training camp. Dude didn't miss a game the 1st four years and was benched last year for Flanagan.

i think what we have here is a young guy who if he takes the next step in his own development he'll make the final roster...i don't think he's quiet ready to be the starter but if he continues to make strides and turn heads it maybe hard to keep him out of the line-up...he has probably passed drew hodgdon as the heir apparent to the starting center job...so at the very least we are starting to have some nice depth along the o-line

I don't know how good White is, but the statement that he may be ready to start by midseason is a little scary to me because our center play has been so poor. We really need someone to come in and solidify what may be the weakest position on the team. To me, it looks like another year of waiting.
